I'm trying to use a damage calc but I think I'm doing it wrong. XD How much damage does a life orb, swords dance, extreme speed from adamant Lucario do to another Lucario with the same spread.

I'm getting 42.70% - 50.18% from metalkid. Is that right?
 
Emerald Breeding

I'd like to use it to get tutor moves on some pokemon...but I have no decent way of finding out the IV's for pokemon, especially legends (working on Rayquaza soft-reset right now).

How could I do this in an easy way?

Get Rare Candies and use an IV Calculator, unless you're looking for just certain stats to be 31, in which case, go to the IV guy at Battle Frontier, if he says your stat is flawless, it is 31. He can check multiple stats so just keep talking to him until you think there are no other stats that are 31...

There isn't an AR code for IV check in Emerald? And that's definitely the only way?
 
How do I get both Dragon Dance and Ice Punch on a Totodile? I have thought of many breeding combinations and can't think of any at all. Are there any Pokemon that can breed with Totodile/Croconaw/Feraligatr that can pass down DD and Ice Punch? Can't find any.

I don't think there are..., try breeding DD onto Feraligatr in Emerald, then Tutoring Ice Punch onto it... If... DD was even third gen...

My understanding is that you need to use the Emerald Move Tutor to teach Ice Punch to a Dragonite and then transfer him to a 4th gen game to breed your Totodiles. Totodiles bred in 3rd gen don't inherit DD.

You may not have Emerald but you can probably trade somebody for an Ice Punch Dragonite and continue on your own from there.

Are you asking him permission to trade for cloned pokemon? because it really looks like you are =/ you should read this because we are not even supposed to ask what is legit and what is not.
If you want to clone without using an AR then use the GTS cloning glitch, google it or search youtube for a video.

Every time I turn around you're throwing the book at people. =P I have too on occasion....

Anyway, my question.

Is there a Pokemon in OU that would fair well against Ubers? Cuz this guy I know.... ugh. All he plays with are hacked shiny legends from GTS and is always bugging me to battle him. I can do a great deal to him, but the likes of Dialga and Palkia always screw me over.

But from the looks of it, I don't have much except for what I already have. Close Combat Dialga, then revenge kill, and then see if I can get a dragon to type trump Palkia.

Why don't I use my own ubers? Don't play it. All I have are a bunch of dex fillers, and my own GTS Deoxys that I got. If I ever get the chance I could use it to break him, but that's the problem: We always have weird disconnects, and it's weird that it happens when I'm beating the s*** out of him.


I know there's some out there, but they're rarely mentioned.

Focus Sash Smeargle, Endeavour, switch to Swellow, Quick Attack, Endure, Endeavour, switch to Abomasnow, other stuff?

Best advice all day.

I've decided to go with this, although I actually have a Obamasnow and could get that strategy to work lol, that'd piss him off pretty good.
But he'd probably just disconnect and blame it on bad wifi, when Pokemon has some of the best wifi for me as it is.

I know Scizor is used in OU, check the analysis for a set called "Trapper". I believe Calm Blissey and Metagross play really well in uber teams too.

Both options are good if you want magnezone to support your team so it is a matter of what the rest of your team needs
Also, straight from the analysis:
The minimum Speed Magnezone should ever run is 177, which is enough to outspeed minimum Speed Skarmory. This requires 84 EVs when using a neutral nature. From there, you could run any Speed up to the maximum with a boosting nature.
