I need help classifying all the OU Walls/Tanks....here's what I got..

Phy Walls:
Hippowdon, Jirachi, Dusknoir, Forretress, Skarmory, Gliscor

Sp Walls:
Blissey, Snorlax (Careful Curse), Tenta, Bronzong (Sassy)

?:
Cress (Bold/Modest/Timid), Suicune (Bold), Vaporeon (Bold), Milotic (Bold), Spiritomb (Careful)

Tank:
Tyranitar, Metagross, Togekiss (Calm), Zapdos (Bold), Swampert, Gallade, Gyarados, Heatran, Machamp, Scizor

honestly, you'll get yourself into more problems being so rigid. just see what pokemon you are weak to when making a team and choose your 'wall' or whatever accordingly rather than throwing in a 'wall' just because you feel like you need to. eg. if you are weak to ape, gyara and mamoswine, then you should consider cress. garchomp and lucario problems? try gliscor.

ok now here's my question and it's a bit noob i guess (should really know this by now). i'm pretty sure sunny day reduces damage to some attack types. what are they?
 
Why is cloyster viable in ubers? It's a special-heavy metagame, is it not? It can't wall groudon either unless it wants a stone edge to the face.

Straight from the dex: "STAB Ice Beam does decent damage to Giratina trying to switch in to block Rapid Spin."

I'm guessing this is why.

also keep aerodactyl, weezing, venusaur, miltank, shedinja, and articuno in mind, as they are recent tier changes.

as for a UU team building guide, i don't know if there's one somewhere on the forums here, but i personally read the UU RMTs and try to learn about team building basics from those. they've been working okay so far.

EDIT: The only ones you'd really have to watch out for is Weavile and Garchomp so I'd say your Mawile is quite good in comparison to the one in that hyperlink.
 
Hello, Does it matter when I evolve a pokemon?
So do I have to evolve a Staryu/Eevee at Lv1 to get the best stats, or does it not matter?

That only matters if you want Staryu/Eevee's exclusive lv. up moves. Otherwise the stats for the Evolution will be the same as if you had evolved it later. The same goes for EVs, they remain the same no matter when you choose to evolve.
 
are pokemon iv's determined the moment you meet them...

like for example the running ones

is it determined in the cave i meet it or when i run into it later on
 
how would you check how many ev's a pokemon in a certain stat?

and also, lucario has pretty balanced offensive stats, so why do people use it as one or the other?
i never see a mixed lucario, they always run adamant or modest, or some speed boosting nature
