How do you calculate EVs? I'm kinda a noob when it comes to training.

you can't calculate them. you have to keep track of how many EVs a pokemon gained. or you could possibly find them if you know the IVs

I don't know if this question belongs here but I was planning on asking a girl out through the use of a love note during my study hall as she sits right beside me but she's in 10th grade and I'm in 12th grade so this years my last year and was wondering if it's even worth it to ask her out? I think that this question is pretty embarrassing to be asking here but I feel more comfortable asking people that I somewhat know rather than asking the girl out loud in front of everyone, and I want to let people know that this is my first time asking a girl out, EVAR!!!!! Thanks for the help:)

That probably belongs in Congregation of the masses.

How do you do the egg trick that lets you see the nature of what the egg will be before hatching it?
turn off L = A on the options, go to your PC put your egg in an empty spot, then hit L or R wait about 8 seconds (4 seconds per information swap) and stare carefully at that area that shows information like item, type, nature and hit R or L, the opposite of whatever you hit earlier.

As it swaps boxes the information continues to go up so you can see what's inside the egg, cause if you followed the directions exactly your cursor should return to your egg, so it would show for a split moment the Pokemon inside the egg's type shifting up to its Nature.

Ok I'm doing the following:

1) have the cursor on top of the egg
2) hitting "r"
3) hitting "l" (landing BACK on the egg)

but no said info is shown at ALL

I guess I should keep those kinds of questions to myself, it'd be better off that way.
Despite this being a thread for simple questions and answers, I suppose your question might be better oriented to a thread not in Stark Mountain. Just my best guess.

hmm, are you look... oh wait.. there might have to be a Pokemon on the other side to land on first... sorry >.< forgot to say that part... basically the information below the picture where it normally would say Item, Type, Nature, and that other thing... yeah... that should be it...

Can someone give me a list of typical Lucario switch-ins or counters? I'd normally use the Strategy page, but I think it's a little dated. Thanks.

it really depends on the set. Lucario has moves to beat all its counters. As far as standards go, zapdos, and gyarados do fine

Well I'm going to breed a SubLuke, and I want to know what opponents normally switch in to be able to beat standard (I'd say SDLuke was most standard) Lucario. Thanks for those 2, though.

For some reason, when I used the azelf-rebattle code, the lake turned back into the blownup version with galactic people. Has this ever happened to anyone before? And if so, how do I fix it.

I'm sorry if this counts as discussing ar.

I just wonder what stats, Cherrims, Flower Gift really raises in sunlight?

At Smogon.com it says:
"When the sunlight is strong, this Pokémon raises its own Attack and Special Defense by 50%. In 2v2, it also raises the Attack and Special Defense of its partner by 50%. This effect does not stack if two Pokémon have Flower Gift."

At Serebii.net it says:
"Powers up party Pokémon when it is sunny."
"Ally’s Attack and Special Attack are multiplied by 1.5 during strong sunlight."

Whitch one is correct?
