i've been away from battling for a while. when i left, garchomp just got banned. since then, platinum has been released and the game has evolved. can someone give me a list (maybe a link) of all the pt additions? any other metagame rule changes would be nice too, both for standard OU and suspect test.

I need something that is not weak to ground or rock, and can be a check against Lucario and Scizor. I am thinking Mesprit, with Hidden Power Fire. It will be replacing a Zapdos... opinions?

I'm going to seem like an idiot here, however I am confused as to what has happened with Pursuit over the years. If I am correct, when a CB Pursuit finished off a pokemon, the user was able to switch attacks next turn. What has happened now?

I'm working on a new Platinum set for Toxicroak and I wanted to know if Sucker Punch or Bullet punch would be better. He would be an Adamant Swords Dancer and the whole idea is that he'd stat up on the switch and sweep.

I'm thinking about going with BP because I'd be in better shape against something like Gengar that will sleep/burn me on the first turn counting on Sucker Punch failing. This way I still get a priority move that could potentially KO Gengar or another frail switch-in after SD. Other 2 moves would be Cross Chop (STAB) and Thunder Punch (for non-ground bulky waters).

So sucker punch or bullet punch??

I need an ev spread for this and a nickname--It was obtained on Halloween and hatched on All Saints Day.

the standard EVspread would be: 124 Hp / 252 Def / 132 SpAtk, but since your miss one point in Hp I would go with 128 Hp / 252 Def / 128 SpAtk.

very good feebas btw.

When were you able to switch attacks? In Advance?

That was a glitch that occured in the early Japanese copies of Diamond and Pearl that has since been fixed.

Thanks! Now I just need to find someone to help me tutor my American pokes!!

I could do that for you- for a Pokemon.
Just give me a PM.
I have the Legit Japanese Pokemon Platinum- Instead of the American Platinum downloaded off the Internet.

Okay this is messed up. I have an Adamant Salamence with the Personality "Likes to thrash about", with 252 attack EVs. But it's only 389 attack. Somebody help because my Ape has "Likes to thrash about" alnog with adamant, and 252 attack EVs, but it's max attack. Can somebody help?

Likes to Thrash About does not necessarily mean that it has max attack, it just means it has an Attack IV of mod5 + 1... or whatever that thing was..., in other words 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31
