Anyone know how many Shards I need to Tutor the move Synthesis? I have 6 green and 2 Yellow and I am in Snowpoint, but no good?

If it matters, I am trying to teach Tangela Synthesis.

Can't find a problem, other than you have 2 green and 6 yellow maybe.

Are you playing Platinum, dumb question but you'd be suprised.

Yes I am playing Platinum. I've concluded that I need Red Shards because I have plenty of the other shards (6+). I've decided to replay Pokemon Emerald and get all shards. Then, I can just clone them later on. About how long do you guys think it will take me to play through Emerald up to the Battle Frontier? 15-20 hours?

I could trade you some shards if ya need them Via Bidoof 0.o.

actually there is no limit for the battle screen its pretty funny to battles with really long nicknames
WARNING: doing this might get you banned or kicked

At keast in mine that doesnt happen. I was using a nick with 18 characters (including 4 spaces), but in the battle screen only Lucario appeared.

I'm going to try out a sweeping Gliscor, somewhat similar to Garchomp (I know there is no actual replacement for chomp), what type coverage should I go for?

I only have room for two offensive moves. Earthquake is a given. The other options are: Aerial Ace, Thunder/Ice/Fire Fang and Rock Slide/Stone Edge.

I just can't decide.

When are the new useage statistics coming? With BL having been merged with UU, Dragonite no longer deserves to stand in the shadow of Salamence. There are plenty of counters available for it as well.

The new usage statistics will come out at the beginning of February, however tier changes will be made April 1st, using the average of January, February, and March's statistics. Also, Dragonite does not stand in the shadow of Salamence, it pulls off the mixed set much better with Superpower, and can effectively run a special defensive set with Light Screen and Roost, combined with it's higher Special Defense and HP.

Which Cherrim Moveset should I use to support my NU Sunny Day Team?

The Standard SunnyBeamer Timid ( 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Atk)
Sunny Day/ HP Fire/ Solarbeam/ Protect

Subseeder Bold ( 252 HP/ 180 Def/ 76 Sp.def)
Sunny Day/ HP Fire/ Leech Seed/ Substitute

Both carry Heat rock.... Which one should I use?

Can someone answer my question ASAP? I have two honey trees going, but they won't be stocked forever...

How do I transfer Articuno to XD?
Beat the game, then trade it over in Phenac City's Pokemon Center's basement. That won't get Heal Bell onto it, though. You have to purify the Shadow Articuno in that game in order for that Articuno to get the moves. And you have no chance to SR for it, under legit circumstances.

Why are there so many speed EVs on the Rapid Spin set for Hitmontop?
Can I just pump all the Speed EVs into Defense instead? I am planning on using this for the New UU so maybe there are threats I am not aware of.

Eh, as much as I like subseed, I don't think Cherrim is fast enough for it standalone, and why use SubSeed and waste your turns of sun doing more or less nothing? (afterall, you're only powering up one of your weaknesses).

Not that I'm fond of the other set, but it makes more sense than subseed unless something changes to catch my eye.

Well, SUnny Day raises its special defense by 50%, but I guess you're right...

If Cherrim's so bad, should I use Rainrest Phione and make a Rain Dance team?

Could someone give me a viable list of Cute NU pokemon for a sunny or rainy team?
