"For some numbers, Dark Pulse does 47-57% to Hippowdon and 47-55% to Swampert, meaning if they have some prior damage, or Stealth Rock / Spikes is in play, Dark Pulse will most likely 2HKO both of them, lessening the need to devote moves to hit them."

From the Choice Specs Tyranitar Section in the analysis....

I was wondering if Dark Pulse does THAT much damage to a poke as bulky as Hippowdon/Swampert, would it do a similar amount of damage to Gliscor? On the switch-in, of course, I realize Gliscor would probably outspeed this thing and OHKO it...

Can someone help me out with some calcs? I need this to decide whether to use Ice Beam or Flamethrower...

@Shelcario: People were being stupid and didn't do their matches D:

Kabuto, use Libelldra's calculator, but I would assume so since Gliscor's special defenses are 75 / 75

I traded for a Quiet [shiny, lol] one on Wi-Fi, but I'm planning on using a mixed set with Crunch / Earthquake / Ice Beam / Fire Blast (or Thunderbolt), which seems to have good coverage in OU. So maybe you might just run Ice Beam anyways?

I was wondering what the most common pogeys are used as Leads in OU, and what there most common movesets are in a lead role

I haven't played in a while and wasn't good to begin with

nah, Choice Spex actually. I wanna use those attack EVs in HP or sp Def...

Calcs of Choice Specs 317 Sp Att Tyranitar on 252 HP/0 Sp Def Gliscor: 62.15% 67.23% 73.16%

So no, its doesnt OHKO, but if you hit in the switch-in, you do more damage than to Swampert or Hippowdon.

What are the best egg moves to pass on to a HP Electric Wishpass Vaporeon? I know Wish and Yawn, but what else should I slap on there?
Charm, Curse, Tickle, Fake Tears..?
Edit: Nevermind, Eevee doesn't even get half those egg moves in Emerald anyway.

What/Who is the best place/person to EV train [with] HP?

I always thought Bidoofs and Makuhitas were the easiest pokes to EV train for HP.

in D/P is hard to find Makuhitas, so it would be a better idea to train against Bidoofs, which you can find pretty much everywhere xD

But you'll usually run into other Pokemon. Is there any trainer that can be used with the VS Seeker that only has HP EV Pokemon?

Yep, the Cowgirl south of Solaceon has 5 Bidoofs, so with the power items and Pokerus you can get 50 EVs per battle.

Is there some where I can find (or can some one tell me) a rundown of the UU metagame, explaining which Pokemon I should probably be ready for? I'm running down the analysis list, looking at different stuff, but there's a lot there, and I feel like I'm not getting a grasp of what to be planning for.

Try checking there. That thread has a list of the most used leads, pokemons, teammates, movesets, evs, etc. of all the ladders.

I'm trying Smeargle to lead off with Spikes and I have the moveset narrowed down to: Spore / Spikes/ Mirror Coat / ???. I'm running a 252 Hp /252 Spe / 4 Def EV set with a Jolly nature.

Any suggestions for a good 4th slot?

Edit: This is for UU btw.

Maybe SR, Thunder Wave/Toxic for hiting on the switch from Spore or even Counter since i could tell you will use a Sash :)

Edit: No Problem :)
