As I understand it, the Platinum forms can't be used only on WiFi. They can be used just fine in local link battles, however, and that's what Shoddy is trying to simulate.

Swords dance is = attack stat*2
Belly drum is = attack stat*4
So what I do is multiply my Lucario's 350 Atk by 4? That's insane, that's 1400!
And another thing, if a move is STABED, how much stronger is it?
It's been aa while since I was in OU, and i forget what the "Synergy of a team" is. Care to re-inform me?
When I try to launch Shoddy Battle, I get a pop-up saying "Unable to Launch Application". I'm pretty sure I just updated my Java, which is what I remember I did last time to solve the problem, but its still not working. Any suggestions?
What are the chanses of a sleeping PKMN being asleep for the max 4 turns, how does that whole deal work?
TheMaskedNitpicker in the DP Research Thread said:As far as I understand it, when a Pokémon is put to sleep with a move other than Rest, it gets a sleep counter that starts at a random number between 2 and 5. Right before the Pokémon's turn, the counter is decrased by 1. If the counter is then less than or equal to 0, the Pokémon wakes up and takes its action. As far as I always understood it, if the Pokémon has the Early Bird ability when its turn comes up, the counter gets decreased by 2 instead of 1. I don't think the counter gets divided or multiplied by 2 at any point.
Have you tried reinstalling Shoddy? It's worth a try, fixed Shoddy for me once.
Another question, If your looking for a tutor, where would you find one? Like contact them or whatever.
(This isn't the simplest question but...)
Whenever I save my team on Shoddy, I have to change Zapdos' IVs since he can't have straight 31's. However, he also can't have 31's and 30's in order to have HP Grass 70. Can anyone help me fix Zapdos' IVs so that I could get a strong HP Grass and keep good, legal IVs?
Does anyone have any advice as to whether to use Azelf or Gengar as a non-lead Explosion-user?
Azelf outspeeds opposing Gengars, but Gengar has superior Special Attack and STAB Shadow Ball.
EDIT: This is for the 4v4 VGC Regionals.
