I looked that up, but that doesn't explain the above scenario.
Does the Soul Dew work in Battle Tower? I used Soul Dew Latios against Tycoon's Dragonite and Dragon Pulse didn't OHKO. In Uber battling Latias always OHKO'd Palkia with Dragon Pulse, but Latias has lower special attack than Latios and Palkia has higher speical defense than Dragonite. Does this mean that Dragonite should be an uber...
iirc it's from an emerald move tutor. i think it can be had from fire red / leaf green as well. then you would have to migrate. however there would be a chance of it not getting magic guard in that case (you'd have to migrate it unevolved, for that to work btw). kind of a pain to make a good legit clefable @_@.
Awwwww crap. Thanks, maybe I will somehow manage without using softboiled then.
Another question, is there any pokemon not full-evolved with better stat growth overall than its evolved form? (Or in other words, is there any Pokemon better off staying in its not-fully-evolved form till level 99? Or does evolving just simply adjusts everything regardless?)
Did your Gallade happen to flinch in the previous turn, it has the ability Steadfast, which increases Speed each time it flinches.
Soul Dew can be held by a Pokemon, but it does absolutely nothing besides take up the held item space. Also, that Dragonite thing had to do with IVs and EVs and other stuff.
Dragonite's Stats: 91/134/95/100/100/80 (Speed last)
Palkia's Stats: 90/120/100/150/120/100 (Speed last)
Palkia is obviously superior to Dragonite. Also, Ubers have to be tested, and IIRC, it isn't even used enough to be OU.
It was a 3rd Generation move tutor move (FR, LG, or Emerald). So the only way to get it is to get a Clefairy and teach it in a 3rd gen game and then Pal Park it.
All Pokemon will have the same stats at Lv.100 regardless of when it's evolved assuming they have the same EVs, IVs, Nature, and of course, Species.
1)Soul Dew doesn't work in Battle Tower/Facilities, due to the Soul Dew Clause that Nintendo programmed in.
2)Uber, OU, BL, UU, NU and Limbo are all tiers that are determined by amount of usage that pokemon sees.
On Smogon, these tiers are determined by amount of usage seen on Shoddy Battle and other such battle simulators.
Though the tiers can be seen as a measure of strength, remember, UU pokemon have potential to cause havoc, and have enough power to be considered OU(for some of them.)
Case in Point, Donphan has been moved to UU from OU(And someone else, i forgot who.)

Is it completely legal here (as In, could I trade) pokemon I used Ar codes to get? Let me explain, lets say I want a jirachi/want to distribute it, would it be ok to use an AR code to get the wondercard allowing me to soft reset for a Jirachi? I ask this because I saw someone else doing it in a thread (and it seems fine), but would like some reassurance. Thank you to the person who answers my question~
Okay, while looking in the Battle Tower in Platinum, my brother pointed something out that caught my attention. There was a person who was sort of like the IV guy in the Battle Frontier in Emerald. He would be a scientist-looking guy by the PC and he mentions something about intriguing power or something. Does he have the same purpose as the one in Emerald did? And if so what does each phrase he say mean? Like how if the Emerald guy said the stat was outstanding, the IV range in that stat would be 26-30. So I guess I'm asking what is the range of IVs for each thing he says, unless it isn't about IVs. And also if this is mentioned somewhere else, my apologies.
Actually, only OU, UU and NU are decided by usage. Ubers and BL are banlists.
What will happen if you use explosion with a pokemon on full health and with a focus sash being held? Will it die or will it have 1 hp left? (It's not the effect on the opponent, it's the effect on the explosion user, and apparently the explosion user's at full health and it has focus sash)
I haven't been on smogon for a while, and now suddenly Arceus is banned. Could someone give me a link to the thread in which this was decided? I've tried to search it but it didn't seem to work.
