So even if the moves are deleted by the Daycare people, they'll be passed on?

Yes, even if the moves you want to pass on to the offspring are deleted, those moves will still be passed on UNTIL YOU REMOVE THE PARENTS FROM THE DAYCARE.

i.e. Lvl 5 Male Vulpix w/ Hypnosis breeds with Lvl 5 Female Vulpix. Male Vulpix levels up to Lvl 35 and forgets Hypnosis, but will still pass on Hypnosis as long as I don't remove him from the Daycare.

(edit - Not sure what happens if you remove the female, though)

Wow, I didn't know that. I was always paranoid and kept having to take the father out and delete moves.

...though I guess you should still do that if you're wanting to save your father's moveset. In my case I had a decent machop with ice punch that I ended up using so I'm glad I didn't let the moves be overwritten.

if i traded a machoke (with guts) from RSE to diamond, and evolced it, would it have a chance of gaining no guard upon evolution?

also, if i traded my IV trained porygon2, mwould it gain adaptability or download upon evolution.

finally, are the traits gained set upon trading, upon evolution or beforehand. should i clone the pokemon before trading incase the trait is wrong?

How do i breed for a Sableye with recover?.

I'm also wandering why ppl teach Blissey seissmic toss when her atk is just as bad as her def... she has better sp.atk & can learn psychic to cover her fighting weakness >_>

question 1: no, it will keep guts. abilities dont change on evolution, except in cases like your second question.

question 2: it depends on what your porygon2 has now. if it has download, it will stay as download. if it has trace, it will change to adaptability.

To breed for Sableye with recover: Breed a female Sableye with a lvl 30 male Kadabra.

Seismic Toss does damage based on the user's level, therefore in lvl 100 battling, Blissey is guaranteed to do 100 damage with Seismic Toss

What is the best berry to evolve Feebas? I think it was Pamtre, but I don't know for sure. Serebii's D/P Berrydex didn't have anything about that, just the out-of-contest effects

Well now I've got a question.

When using Stat Boosters like Swords Dance or Nasty Plot...well, i'll use Nasty Plot as an example.

Nasty Plot raises my Special Attack "two stages". What is the exact amount?

Is it a certain percentage of my individual pokemons stats, i.e. Nasty Plot raises my Special Attack by 20%?

Or is it a fixed value, i.e. Nasty Plot raises my Special Attack by 200, regardless of which pokemon im using?

One stage is x1.5, or x50%. Two is x2, or x100%

So if a pokemon with a 200SpAtk stat uses Nasty Plot, it will get a x2 boost, making it 400SpAtk.

edit- didn't see your last sentence, the number was just a coincidence. But it's not a fixed amount

each stage is a +50% boost.

so with 200 sp.att and using nasty plot (+2 boost) you would gain 100% , making 400

edit: beat....with exact same numbers...how odd.

Ok, thanks!, i just need to know one more thing, how do i know when i have the EVs i need?, i want a Blastoise with 252 spd EVs but i don't know how they work, plz explain.

It will keep it while its in the box. You can say the PokeRus is "frozen" while in the box. The little face means it can never get it again and pass it, but it will keeps its effects (x2 EV gain) if I'm not mistaken.

do you mean that after Pokerus passes it will still get the EV gains?

don't bother with fast Blastoises. In contributions there is an EV guide

Is it my impression or a pokemon cannot reach max happiness if infected by pokerus?

I've trained, massaged, given it a soothe bell and everything I could to make my pokemon happy, but it didn't reach max happiness, and it has a pokerus because I've just trained its EV.

So, does it have something about Pokerus, or do I have a really demanding pokemon?

um, i did the thing for the choice specs, but for some reason my game's calling it the wise glasses. is this the same thing or what?
No.

edit: my game's an hour off, most likely due to daylight savings, so that's probably what's up...fuck staying up for another hour. this event sucks my asshole

Speak to the guy between 4am and 10 am to get Choice Specs.

i need some help with the ev's for this guy. he's a mix-tar so i was thinking max speed and special attack. would that work??

I don't know if anyone has asked this question or not, but does anyone know the damage amounts for Items(for instance i use Fling)?

Magicenforcer, I would probably put ice beam over surf on the Tyranitar. For the EV's, I think you should maybe just ignore speed and put the EV's into special attack and HP. Maybe some in attack too.

IIt seems like all stat boosting groups are more or less equilibrated, except SpA and Def. It seems like SpA also takes the part of Defense.

Of course, that doesn't prove anything, but I've felt this kind of pattern most of the time I'm breeding. For any reason, a group of natures appear a lot and a group of natures almost never appear, but they seems to change with some factor (time generator? parents nature?).

Maybe with a larger sample (magikarps) it's possible to conclude anything.

Weird, it does seem like the game is picking the natures that boost the stats you don't want. It's the same with my yanma's. I've bred like 50 of them, and even though I haven't kept track of natures, I did notice that attack/defense/sp. def increasing natures were really common. The two important stats, sp. atk and speed, almost never show(ed) up.
