I think generally, you would give it HP first (versus defence/special defence), since HP is essentially defence + special defence.

so maybe 252 HP, and then split the rest of the EVs into Special Defence and Defence.
Don't bother putting speed EVs, because with a base 48 speed... Ditto isn't going to be outspeeding anyone.

A defencive nature would probably benefit it also, as it wants to transform before croaking.
 
Out of these 3 pokemon, which is the better Stealth Rocker...or does it not matter at all? It's for a sandstorm team.

In sandstream?

I personally like Gliscor as a stealth rock user, because of his increased avoidability in it. "It" being sandstream.
 
Cradily, in my opinion. He can force some switches and get the Sandstorm boost, so he is a very good wall.


Q: can I play the japonese Pokemon Battle Revolution using an en/eu Pokemon Diamond/Pearl game?

Actually, if I can get it, I've been thinking about putting HP Electric somewhere for a Gyarados, any suggestions?

Life Orb: Physical attacks and special attacks are boosted by 30%, but user takes damage equal to 10% of your max HP. This "recoil" is not blocked by Rock Head. The damage does not stack when using multi-hit moves. The holder even takes damage using set damage moves like Seismic Toss. The attacker does not take damage when it attacks a Substitute, however.
 
Two simple request:

1. How much damage would a Jolly Dugtrio with 31 ATK IV and 252 ATK EV, using Earthquake and equiped with Life Orb, do to a Bold Blissey with 31 HP/DEF IV and 252 HP/DEF EV?

2. How much damage would a Bold Blissey with 31 SP.A IV and 0 SP.A EV, using Ice Beam, do to a Jolly Dugtrio with 15 SP.D IV and 0 SP.D EV?

If I remember the damage formula correctly;
1) 289-360 damage, which is around 40-50%
2) 138-172 damage

I know the damage formula has changed for D/P, but I'm not sure where except for STAB.

When Ditto transforms, it gains the base stats of the opponent. Use max speed, +Speed nature, and Quick Powder to outspeed whatever you transform into. Max HP is usually best.
 
if i EV train with the pokemon holding macho brace and i have pokerus on that pokemon and im training in defence and the defence pokemon i am fighting is a graveler that gives off 2 points in defence how many of those gravelers do i have to fight after i already gave it 10 vitamins in defence?

EX.

my tangela is holding macho brace and his tainted with pokerus.

im traing in defence and im fighting graveler's wich give off 2points in defence.

how many gravelers do i have to fight to max out its defence?(also i already gave it 10 vitamins in defence)

10 vitamins = 100 def EVs
so u need 152 EVs to go
if you kill gravelers with macho brace and pokerus thats 8 EVs a pop
you gotta get 19 gravelers with macho brace and pokerus which would give you 152 EVs

thanks i thought so i just needed another opinion on this.
 
So which +Speed nature would be best for Ditto? What EVs should I give it, and when it transforms, does it copy the exact stats of the Pokemon it trasforms into? And also, does it copy its opponents ability. If yes, does it's Limber ability still work?
