How much does Sandstream boost Special Defense.

Actually, it's not a "stage", it's calculated before stat boosting stages. (1 stage in a sandstorm would be 2.25x, 1.5 plus the 50% from one stage)
How do people get good IVed Pokemon from the start? Like when breeding, how do you get good Pokemon with good IVs? I know the parents pass down their IVs, but is there any other way to get a Pokemon with good IVs?

The place above Sunyshore city. It has wild Tentacruel's which give out 2 and Mantyke's that give out 1. Pelipper's are there too, but don't give Sp. Def.
I actually use Exp Share for pokemon that are too low level.
Just stick in a higher level pokemon to fight the tentacools for you.
I actually LOVE using PP as a mechanism of "marking" how many EVs I've obtained. Starmie + 4 Special 100% Hit Rate Attacks = Good Stuff.

Noone knows what the true intention of mystery gift right now is. We're all assuming that in the future it's how we'll get prizes such as Darkrai and such.
Or maybe go to Toys R Us, and use Mystery Gift to recieve prizes or what not.

80 is the base power x 1.5 for Adaptability = 120 x 1.5 for Stab = 180, this thing kills.

Sticky Hold increases the chance of finding a pokemon fishing... or at least something to do with fishing. Magnet Pull increases the chance of finding a steel type. Magma Armor/ Flame Body cuts the number of steps required to hatch the eggs in the party. There's lots of them, but I don't feel like thinking too hard.
