Slow. It gets stronger the greater the difference between your and your opponents speed is. So if you are very slow and your opponent is very fast you may reach the maximum power of 150 BP.

OK, if i use trick room, is my base speed still the same for the turns?

Is there any way to get both pursuit and curse on a Snorlax? If so, how? They're both egg moves, and I can't seem to find a pokemon in its egg group that can learn them both.

Let's suppose my Focus Sash Pikachu is fighting a Marowak. My Pikachu uses Nasty Plot and then Marowak attacks with Boomerang.

The first hit of Boomerang is enough to OHKO, so Pikachu use its Focus Sash and survive at 1 HP. Will the second it kill it or will Focus Sash activate again?

Why am I getting disconnected from GTS?

If you have satellite TV, or are flipping through the channels with your remote, you'll probably get disconnected. Same for Radios, but not laptops, strangely enough. Make sure they're all off. And make sure you're as close to the router as possible, so no one can move between the DS and the router, and your signal is strongest.

This is just me guessing, though.

Focus Sash will only activate once per battle. It will disappear if it is used outside of wi fi/wireless battles or battle tower.

And so does damage-reducing berries (like Wacan berry)?

They only work one time per Wi-Fi battle and will disappear if used InGame?

Nincada - #290 (Quirky)
HP: 25 - 28
Att: 25 - 27
Def: 30 - 31
SpA: 19 - 20
SpD: 27 - 30
Speed: 25 - 28

I know the nature isn't ideal, but it'll still do fine, right?

Let's put this in perspective:

Quirky Ninjask, 31 Speed IVs: 419 max speed.
Jolly Ninjask, 0 Speed IVs: 426 max speed.

Quirky Ninjask, 31 Attack IVs: 279 max attack.
Adamant Ninjask, 0 Attack IVs: still, 272 max attack.
Adamant Ninjask, 7 Attack IVs: 280 max attack. <-- this shouldn't be too hard to breed.

Nature is almost always more important than IVs.

Magikarp - #129 (Adamant)
HP: 27 - 31
Att: 30 - 31
Def: 24 - 29
SpA: 4 - 9
SpD: 27 - 31
Speed: 7 - 14

this karp has a pretty good iv range, but its speed is terrible. i've been having a hard time getting anything even close to a decent speed iv, so i'm considering just settling with this...i plan on making this a dd gyarados though so should i keep breeding for speed?

Rebreed for speed man, it's not that hard, Karp takes a few seconds to hatch anyway.

Normally good advice - speed is often the most important IV to get a perfect 31 in.

However, DD Gyarados rarely has maxed speed IVs, so for the above Gyara he could always drop a few EVs from Attack, HP, or def to get his speed up to the right number for a Dragon Dance.

So, for example, a normal "Bulky" DD Gyara would have: 212hp/16atk/180def/100spd

giving it 223 speed to outspeed Jolly Garchomp. The poster could instead spend something like: 212hp/16atk/104def/176spd

(assuming his speed IV was 12) to still hit 223 speed.

On the psypokes Pokedex Salamence can apparently learn Belly Drum as an egg move, but Serebii says otherwise (or at least it isn't there), has anyone tested this?

I have another question: Let's suppose I sent a Heracross holding a Flame Orb and it got burned. Then I sent Blissey and used Aromatherapy and switch to Heracross again, will the Flame Orb work again?

Well, I've had problems with my DS and Macbook being to close to each other. It might just be situational with laptops.

I'm having some breeding troubles. I'm breeding a male Spore Shroomish with my Ditto, and the eggs come out without Spore. Do I have to evolve it to a Breloom before I can breed Spore on to eggs?

On a Scrappy Miltank 252 HP, 252 Def EV spread, which is better, Zen Headbutt or Stomp?

Zen Headbutt-
Hits Fighting and Poison for SE damage
Hits Rock for neutral damage

Stomp-
Higher Base Power than ZH with STAB
Higher chance of Flinch

I'm leaning towards Zen Headbutt because I won't be totally walled by Rocks.

I'm pretty sure you can only get it when breeding Male Shroomish with Female Shroomish.

Mareep - #179 (Brave)
HP: 30 - 31
Att: 20 - 29
Def: 20 - 29
SpA: 20 - 25
SpD: 27 - 29
Speed: 30 - 31

Could I get an EP spread for a Sub-punching/Thunderbolting Amphy?

If I remember right its something like some HP some SP. Def a little Sp A. and I guess Att.

I forgot :(

What are all the two type combinations that have no resistances? Everyone knows electric/ice (boltbeam) and dragon/fire (flameclaw). What are some of the others that have no or few resistances (like water/normal only being resisted by empoleon)?

Water/Dragon (Empoleon)
Ground/Ice (Surskit, Bronzong)

Flying/Fighting (Zapdos, Rotom)

what is the easiest way to clone GTS reliably.
ive done it once, but i keep trying, and it wont work again.
steps would be helpful
it would also be helpful for the most reliable way of doing it.
