So if I want to RNG for IVs for Raikou, Entei, and Ho-Oh in HeartGold, I can just kill them all before the E4 and come back later to do that stuff, correct?
 
In HG/SS Growlithe has a new egg move, Morning Sun that can be obtained through breeding with Espeon (as the father). Does my Espeon need to know the move (which it learns at 71, I believe) for my baby Growlithe to know it? Or it being an egg move will it learn it upon being hatched even if my Espeon is a 51 and doesn't know it?
 
Is there a simple, easy way to beat the Voltorb Flip? I've tried everything, guides, calculators, and nothing works! In a whole night I've only got 108 coins.

It's a dastardly combination of luck and and very powerful logic, I'm afraid.
 
Oh crap... I just found this in a guide for HGSS EV training:

"So if you battle a Pidgey with a Macho Brace AND Pokerus, instead of getting one Speed EV like you normally should, you get (1 x 2) x 2 = 4 EVs.

And if you battle that same Pidgey with a Power Anklet AND Pokerus, instead of getting one Speed EV like you normally should, you get (1 + 4) x 2 = 10 EVs. One of the users of this guide has given me proof that this is the correct formula, so yeah. =)"

Huh?? I though the 4 EVs from the power item were given after its doubled by pokerus: (1 x 2) + 4 = 6
 
No, it's 4 bonus EVs first before the Pokérus is applied. Pokérus is always applied last.
So 10 EVs is correct.
 
I was wondering how the breeding mechanics are working in HG / SS after applying the power items to the parents! I asked this question before but I cannot find my own post anymore (nub), because it could not be answered directly but I was redirected sort of to another section, but I cannot find that section here.

Does the Red Gyarados respawn after E4 if you KO it? (I think I read once that it does, but I want to be sure.)

If I defeat Ho-oh in heartgold, and then beat the E4, does it re-spawn with different IVs?
