Crunch. Power is more important than just hpong for a flinch, especially considering all the priority users and scarfers that outspeed you and stop flinching from working.
 
I understand Smogon focuses on 1V1 and how important Stealth Rock is in the metagame, but for 2V2 is Stealth Rock just as important? I ask because I'm not sure if I should run it on my Tyranitar lead.

The team I'm workin' on is a Trick Storm team.

I was just wondering which was better to use, Dark Pulse or Shadow Ball? They both have the same power, accuracy, PP, and they hit the same types for the same type of damage with Dark Pulse hitting normals. Dark Pulse can get a flinch, and Shadow Ball can get a Special Defense drop. I see Shadow Ball MUCH more often than Dark Pulse. So taking all this into account, which one should I be using? Thanks.
 
If it gets STAB on one and needs STAB, then choose that one. If you lack a way to beat Blissey well enough, Dark Pulse may be better. If you are not worried about Blissey, then you could try Shadow Ball to beat down stall with sp. def. drops. Shadow ball hits Fighting neutally, but Dark pulse can hit normal, so it's a trade-off. As Haunter said, what is the pokemon (I'll add, what is the set you're using?)

Changing a choice move, but either way it'd be better to just switch out. I just liked the novelty of the idea, I wasn't saying it was effective.
 
So, if I understand correctly, Pokémon D/P/Pt cannot connect to Nintendo WFC via a WPA2 secured network? I have my DSi configured with my WPA2 network on Connection 4 (only Connections 4-6 can use WPA2 instead of WPA), but my Platinum cart is only offering me Connections 1-3).

Can someone please confirm that this is not possible before I change my network's security to WPA?
 
whats the deal with focus sash? after its used once it disappears? my pokemon isn't holding it anymore...? 48 bp points down the drain.

Ya thats pretty much it. Only use it in the battle tower or over wifi. But it doesnt cost 48BP, you get it from that one guy near the pal park
 
I got my shiny Pichu from Gamestop that will be used in Heart Gold and Soul Silver to get the Spiky eared Pichu, but I'm wondering, can I evolve it now? Because all it is is a shiny Pichu, it isn't really anything special besides the Premier Ball and Classic Ribbon, and I will evolve it into a Raichu eventually. So can I train it and evolve it now or will that prevent me from getting the Spiky eared Pichu?

If you evolve it, you won't get the Spiky Eared Pichu.
 
Also, another quick question. If I have a Pokemon that comes delivered in a Pokeball, such as the Toys R' Us Arceus (Judgement, Roar of Time, Special Rend, Shadow Force), or the Pikachu-colored Pichu, are their stats (IV's and nature) already determined or can I soft reset the game and scramble them up and get different ones?
 
Hey Smogon, I'll ask you. I asked KGB for shits and giggles and I don't have to pay the phone bill.

While I'm sleeping and I use Sleep Talk and it uses Psycho Shift, will the sleep go to the opponent?
And if it does, will that count towards the sleep clause?

KGB texted me back with "No it will not shift rest to your other pokemon, however, while in psycho shift, Cresselia is able to use burn to defeat her opponent."

Which is funny because I never said Cresselia. lolol
