How do I get credit for the 150th pokemon to get the national Dex. It looks like the only one missing is Arceus. Nevermind its palkia. I know there is a library somewhere but I just cant seem to remember.

I think it is shown by Cynthias Grandmother. She lives in Celestic town.

The library is is Canalave City btw.

Why do the majority of the Blissey sets include a Bold nature and 252 Def. EVs? With an abysmal 5 base Defense, I would think that you'd just use Blissey as a Special wall and forego dumping points into Defense altogether.

Putting 252 EVs in Defense more than doubles her survivability against physical attacks, which she can tank relatively well due to her massive HP. It really helps her take those odd attacks some special attackers throw on for damage, or take some weaker hits. Bold doesn't do a whole lot though. Those EVs aren't doing much good anywhere else either so no harm done really.

I still need to know which would be better on Bulky Togekiss. It sets up Tailwind in doubles and then continues to abuse Flinchax. I need to know if I should run Encore or Charm. Stat multipliers tend to be more effective in doubles due to the lack of switching.....If I evolve my Togetic, and am displeased w/ the one I chose, it will take me another week or so to get another, not to mention how long it took to get enough BP for Tailwind....And I am really not sure which + can't test it w/o evolving Togetic due to the large speed difference.

Try testing this on pokemon online. You can play doubles n it and thats where most peope test VGC teams

In HG/SS, when an EV item is used to pass down an IV in breeding, do 3 additional IV's get passed down, or do only 2 more get passed down from parents?

If a player with Diamond/Pearl uses Hypnosis against a player with Platinum/Heartgold/Soulsilver in a wifi battle, does Hypnosis have 60% accuracy or 70% accuracy?

What about the opposite?

if thte game is hosted on DP (the host player, not join group), it has 70, if it is hosted by Pt/HG/SS it has 60

StarBP:

Here is how I believe IVs are inherited. The baby begins with random IVs, then receives three random IVs, each from a random stat and from a random parent. In each iteration, if the parent is holding an item like Power Anklet, it will receive the IV for the stat that corresponds to that item instead of for a random stat. Keep in mind though that this theory is untested.

Assume, for example, that the mother holds a Power Bracer and the father holds no item.
Iteration 1. The game chooses a Defense IV and the game chooses the mother. The game changes the IV inherited to an Attack IV since the mother holds Power Bracer. The baby inherits the mother's Attack IV.
Iteration 2. The game chooses a Special Attack IV and the game chooses the father. The baby inherits the father's Special Attack IV.
Iteration 3. The game chooses an Attack IV and the game chooses the father. The baby inherits the father's Attack IV.

Note that at the end, the baby inherits the father's Attack IV instead of the mother's, even though the mother holds a Power Bracer. Moreover, there is a 1/8 chance that the game won't choose the mother to inherit IVs at all. That's why Power Bracer and the like don't guarantee that the baby will inherit the holder's IVs.

In HG/SS, when an EV item is used to pass down an IV in breeding, do 3 additional IV's get passed down, or do only 2 more get passed down from parents?

Each IV you intentionally hand down via a Power item replaces one of the 3 random parent IVs the offspring would normally inherit.

This doesn't really belong here, but I don't know where else to put it.

When did the Latias Analysis change on the site? I noticed it talks only about Ubers now and the Infernape one as well makes no mention about Latias anymore.

I am in the process of learning how to RNG in HGSS for Mewtwo, and I am having a very difficult time advancing the frames in a reasonable amount of time. When I save, it is generally on Buena's Password, and Joey wants a rematch. Is there any way I can fix this from happening? I can't safely advance the RNG except if I use Elm the way it is, and that would take about 45 minutes to do (frame 264).

As far as I know, there are no speed targets you are missing by taking another point off, since before scarf you are at 331 and +Speed Salamence runs at 328. I don't know if Infernape gets a bonus point or not in there somewhere, but I think you are safe running clear down to 329, and putting the extra points into the attack of your choice.

But, I think you should check the speed tiers chart on the google machine and check and see if Modest Starmie would outspeed you without the extra points, as that would be bad news.

What are some good dual screeners in OU?
Sorry for my broad question, but I'm expecting a broad answer to get some ideas, lol,

No. Nothing affects the SpA stat.
Nasty Plot, Captivate, Calm Mind, and Mist Ball

The everpresent dual screen azelf lead is really good. Run 252HP/252SPD/4whatever with speed boost nature, Dual screens, stealthrock, and explosion and you are good. Azelf can actually be amazingly bulky.

The second best would probably be uxie. At least 7 times out of 10 you are in a favorable situation and get to set up screens. Against leads such as azelf and aero, U-turn out into scizor or something while they taunt you. In that case you will not get dual screens turn 1, but you should be fine.

If all else fails, use that metal bell named Bronzong (although he is the most epic taunt bait in the game). He is the sturdiest OU mon and can use dual screens and get both of them up against every nontaunt lead in the game. Bronzong is best in the middlegame at dual screening.

I believe scizor can also dual screen, so if it can (check the analysis it is 1AM here I cant be bothered) you could use it too.

Thanks a lot for you input.
However, I think I'm just going to ditch this whole thing, because nothing can compare to the amazingness of Latias as a Dual Screener, with Recover + Levitate as an added bonus... :(
(Sorry if you're pro-Uber for Latias, it's just that it was essential to my old team, and now I really can't find anything to replace it with...)

I really am pro-OU on both lati twins, so no worries. Yeah it really is hard to fill the void. I've heard that SpecsKingdra is a good replacement for SpecsLatias. Otherwise, starmie is very similar in function to latias. You might want to try using the traditional tbolt/surf or hydropump/icebeam or rapid spin/recover set to replace latias's cleaning abilities.
