I believe Rest lasts for two turns after it is used (correct me if I'm wrong). Two turns after you fall asleep, you wake up.

Turn one, Rest.

Turn two, Sleep Talk.

Turn three, Sleep Talk.

Turn four, wake up before you Sleep Talk, so I guess you want to Rest now.

Because it checks if you wake up before you attack. If you Sleep Talk and use Rest, it resets the timer.

Beldum is very very hard to catch. Either trade/pal park one, or yes, use your master ball and save dozens and dozens of ultra balls and time lol.

Both, they're random, and I'm not sure if the 1 from mother, one from father and 1 from one of them still applies. But yes Males and females pass down ivs
