'Rus just doubles the EV points you gain in battle. If you used a Carbos, it should have boosted in Speed, not HP.
 
Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I was unable to find anything like it on search;Whats the formula to determine the base power of grass knot based on the opponent pokemon's weight?
 
When the actual HP stat increased, did it happen when you leveled it up, or did it happen right after you used the vitamin?

If it somehow spontaneously increased, either something is wrong with your game or you may have some kind of short-term memory (no offense).
The second is more likely.

i just gave it a carbos and her hp when up. god dammit.

Those are clues to the IV's of your Pok'emon. There is a chart somewhere in these forums that has it; hell, I accessed it today, but on a different computer.
I'd provide you with a link, but I can't. Check the forums or ask around.

a) Adamant - 27 hp 26 atk 13 def 1 spA 20 spD 3 spd

b) Adamant - 20 hp 26 atk 30 def 6 spA 13 spD 23 spd

and can someone please tell me what the EV spreads in the analysis forum are based on (IV wise), like do they give the EV's assuming perfect IVs?

any help very much appreciated !!!

I would go for the second Ralts over the first one. HP doesn't really matter on Gallade, and it can take Special hits very well regardless of the IV.

Most of the time, yes. If not, then the IV's should usually be above 25-27 or so. If you are only giving 4-6 EV's for one stat, the IV doesn't really matter.

I believe I have an explanation for you.

I've been EV training a Manaphy for HP. Now, this Manaphy has gained enough EVs at L29 to have 120 HP, but it's still stuck at 118 HP because when it turned L29 it only had enough EVs for 118 HP.

When I gave it a Carbos, its HP jumped up to 120 HP. It would appear that giving vitamins acts like the box trick, in that it recalculates all the stats depending on the EVs you have. So there's nothing wrong with your game - it's acting pretty normally.

If it's in the Ground group, don't even bother asking, you can get any combination of four egg moves you want there.

We need a NoBreed Smeargle to compliment Ditto as the ultimate breed whore.
