Guts + Facade. If you are burnt, do you still get an attack reduction by 1.5 with using Facade (nullifying Guts)? Also, I would assume that Poision/Paralysis activates both of these abilites as well?

When offering a pokemon for trade on the GTS, will it tell you when someone has traded for it? Or will you have to take it down without knowing and hope that it got traded?

You get a 1.5 boost in attack regardless. Guts eliminates the attack loss that is normally caused by burn and gives you a x1.5 boost for attack. paralysis and poison do the same.

Gut negates the drop from burn and gives you a +1 attack boost (x1.5). Facade power doubles when statused, so it'd be 140 (burn does not lower an attack's base power, just the attack stat, and in this case Guts would negate that.

And yeah, Poison/Paralysis also activates Facade and Guts.

How rare is an Adamant Charmander with Belly Drum and Firepunch?

And how do you determind IVs in Emerald? Where is the list of things the guy says that means perfect IVs?

Hmmm, how long til the event darkrais hit Smogon? there are tons of clones over on the GameFAQs boards... (trying to get rid of shit that isn't worthy of smogon, lol)

If a pokemon goes first and faints itself from confusion/recoil, does the enemy use their attack anyway ("But, there was no target!") and lose PP?

And is it different in 2v2? I seem to recall ingame battles where I would get the "But, there was no target!" message, but I also thought sometimes a move would automatically retarget to the other enemy.

I thought I read in the research thread or somewhere that if you struggle yourself to death, the opponent doesn't lose PP or anything, the turn just stops. Is that true in general, the turn just stops if an entire team faints, and if half the team faints, moves targeted against that half fail?

Sorry if this wasn't very simple. :p

is there any way to reduce EV's on a pokemon? like if you give EVs on accident is there any way to get rid of them?

There are berries (Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, etc.) that reduce EVs by 10 if they have under 100 in that stat. If you have over 100 EVs in that stat, it drops it down to 100, IIRC.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop... err... How many steps does it take with the Soothe Bell to get a pokemon to max Return base damage? Also, what is the maximum base damage for Return?

I was trying to figure out Blissey's EVs and mess with them a bit in the analysis. I was adding the EVs together and did it 3 times and ended up with 508. Were those two EVs really suppose to be dumped?

In my experiences, yes, the enemy does use their attack anyway. Even in 1vs1. I don't know if Struggle has any special effect like ending the turn though... since I don't see Struggle often...

And in 2vs2, move will retarget to the other enemy if the original target is fainted. I am certain the turn doesn't stop when all active opponents are fainted.

Yes. But you should put 2 EV's in something so you can get your effort ribbon.

Is it bad to have 3 water types on the same team?(Blastoise, Manaphy, Vaporeon)
It's generally bad to have shared weaknesses.

The only time I would consider something like that is if you have Jolteon or Electivire on your team and you are really baiting their T-Bolt. (Though Grass could kill...)

My team is Gyarados, Blissey, Garchomp, Weavile, Porygon-Z, and Electivire.
I want to put in a Vaporeon, Yanmega, and possibly Cresselia. Should I replace anything and if so who with what?
