Question: If Guts negates the Attack decrease of the Burn status, does Quick Feet negate the Speed decrease and/or fully paralyzed state of Paralysis?

Silly question: my friend and I were joking about making a Pachirisu, and Last Resort came up. If Pachirisu had only Thunderwave and Last Resort (I said we were just joking around XP) does Last Resort kick on, or does it need all the other move slots filled? Just a hypotherical question; I'd never actually try that out >_>

Yeh, that works but its better on Ambipom with Fake Out and Last Resort.

Is there are good reason why the breeding guide insists that you have your perfect-stat Dittos for each nature? Isn't it possible to just breed for the first stat or two and finish off your pokemon with a correct-natured ditto with a perfect stat? For example, say I breed my Dratini with two Ditto who have perfect Attack and then Speed, but aren't Jolly (the nature I want my Dratini to have). Is it feasible to finish that breeding chain with a Jolly Ditto with the final perfect stat, HP, to perfect my Dratini and give it the right nature?

Just had a wifi battle, a choice scarfed absol survived a focus blast from my max special attack modest gengar. Is this possible??

It depends what kind of IVs they had and what EVs. With 0 EVs in HP/Special Defense and with your Gengar with Max IVed and EVed, I really doubt it would survive

Max special defense with beneficial nature (why would you give that nature to absol?) is 240 for absol. Its max hp is 334. i doubt a person would spread all the EVs between special def and HP...

This has probably been asked before but I can't find the answer so I'll ask here.

What does ' 'Pokemon' avoided the attack' mean?

For example my Gyarados is in the battle tower and it uses Earthquake on opponent's Sneasel. The battle text says 'The foe Sneasel avoided the attack'. The next turn Earthquake hits like normal. What is going on?

By how much did it survive?

Absol has a slim chance of surviving that hit even if it has max HP\SpDef EVs with a beneficial nature. I would guess that this Absol was hacked.

Did this Absol outspeed your Gengar? If it did, then it's hacked, because there's no way it can max out those defenses and have enough speed to outspeed Gengar with a Choice Scarf. (Unless your Gengar is around 300 speed or so.)
