What ability does Aipom need to have to have Technician when it evolves?
And ability doesn't change if you soft-reset, correct?

Can anyone explain to me how exactly Rage works please? Thanks!

Dodrio used Rage!
Zigzagoon used Tackle!
Dodrio's Rage is building! (Dodrio's Attack raises 1 Stage. This is the same kind of boost as Meditate, and is capped at 6)

Dodrio used Rest!
Zigzagoon used Tackle!
(Rage does not continue)

[Dodrio wakes up, yadda yadda]

Dodrio used Rage!
Zigzagoon used Pin Missile!
(Hit)
Dodrio's Rage is building! (+1 Attack)
(Hit)
Dodrio's Rage is building! (+1 Attack)
Hit 2 times!

I'm pretty sure if Rage only lasts for the immediate turn after (like Destiny Bond). If Dodrio Raged, Zig used Growl, and then Zig used Headbutt, I'm fairly sure Rage would boost no more.

Ok i have this Cloyster and i ve been wondering what item to put on it.

Cloyster
Relaxed
Shell Armor
~Explosion
~Rapid Spin
~Avalanche
~Spikes

He currently is holding Leftovers for lack of a better item. However i have used him in battles and ive seen that he cant always explode because he is ko'd because he is slow. So i was thinking a Custap Berry to allow him to get off a quick explosion when his Hp gets low. Is that better than having Leftovers?

I just beat the game, and now that I have acess to the means to do so, I want to properly EV my pokemon using the EV-reducing berries. How would I do that?

Custap Berry is an interesting thought, I may try that sometime.

However, it may help to just change your EV distribution around to survive some attacks. What is your EV distribution, by the way? Having a lot of SpDef EVs (200+) can help it survive special attacks in key moments. I believe my Cloyster once survived a Calm Minded Celebi's Psychic to KO it with Explosion, thanks to the extra SpDef EVs.

The Ev spread for my cloyster is 252 hp/ 68 atk/ 184 spdef
So should i go with Custap Berry for a quick explosion?

Use the berries on them...

But you probably have bad IV's and natures, so it's best to go from scratch.

That's not very helpful. Besides, they have good IVs because I bred for most of them and I reset and caught for the rest. I just didn't IV them properly. So how do I tell how many IVs they already have in each stat?

^Just reset all stats to zero ev's using reduction berries and start from scratch with the ev training. You really can't exactly tell how many ev's they have unless you'd have al of their iv's written down somewhere.

What's the minimum special defense needed to survive a Draco Meteor from Salamence w/ Choice Specs, assuming neutral effectiveness? And can Ludicolo achieve that number?

@Dalamar-If you have enough of each of the stat reducing berries, feed your pokes 26 of each to be completely sure that their IVs are erased, and then input their stats into an IV calc. And I think you meant you didn't EV them properly.

@OrangeFluffySheep-Rollout has BP of 30, but I always assumed that it doubled every hit, so that would put the 5th hit at 490 power... O.o
But serebii doesn't say it doubles, just that it hits with rising intensity.

Now for a question of my own:

I have this dratini: Adamant #147 Dratini: 24 / 31 / 28 / 7 / 13 / 30 (speed last)
I'm going for an outrage/DD build. Even if I max speed, will it be too slow because of the adamant nature and 30 IV? Is its special defense too low? (probably). In that case should I go with yache because of the already low spdef, or lum which was my number 1 choice?

Would just like to point out that this is incorrect. In D/P, if your EVs are above 100, the first EV-reducing berry you use reduces it to 100. So you would have to feed a max of 11 berries.

For the Solid Rock ability, does anyone know exactly how much it lowers the damage of Super Effective attacks?

Been thinking about using a Camerupt. ;o

33%.

that is, Ground moves deal 133% of normal damage, and Water moves deal 266% of normal damage.

that's a lot better than 200% and 400%, repsectively, isn't it?
