I have a question concerning NYPC Pokemon and availability.

I know the Pokemon Center was officially shut down in 2005 and was replaced with the Nintendo World Store which features a Pokemon Center section.

With that said, upon visiting the Nintendo World Store would one still be able to obtain NYPC only Pokemon or has the chance to do so been removed?

I ask because I'll be visiting New York in August and was contemplating on swinging by NWS if said Pokemon were still obtainable.

If anyone could shed light on the topic I'd appreciate it!

I'm pretty sure the NYPC Pokémon were limited-time events, not something you just went to any ol' time. It's worth stopping in and asking, but I would bet any amount they don't have them available.

Call me noobcakes for not knowing, but what exactly does it mean when someone has an x in the IV list for a Pokémon? They don't matter? They didn't bother to put that stat into Metalkid's calc? They just don't want you to know?
I'm personally thinking the bolded one but I just wanna know for sure :D A bit of a waste not to calc it in case the Poké ends up with like 28+ and would make a good breeder, but meh.

They do that if that stat doesn't matter. For example:

Specsmence
25/x/14/31/26/31

The x would be Atk

not sure if this is where I should post it, but I need help on a Crobat moveset. It's Adamant, so of course, it's EV trained in Attack and no EV's in Sp. Atk.

Crobat @ Whatever item I feel like using
Adamant Nature
Cross Poison
U-Turn
Payback
Fly
Payback sucks for Crobat, since Crobat can't take damage well and it's too fast it likely wouldn't take a hit...

Note that Crobat can't have Hypnosis and Brave Bird together (both egg moves), so either your Crobat is a fast sleeper or a suicidal attacker.

(Theoretical possible movesets...)

Crobat #1
Hypnosis
Confuse Ray (to confuse the switch-in)
Cross Poison / Aerial Ace / U-Turn / Pluck / Bite
Cross Poison / Aerial Ace / U-Turn / Pluck / Bite

Crobat #2
Brave Bird
Cross Poison
U-Turn
Confuse Ray / Aerial Ace / Pluck / Bite

Yeah, but the point I'm trying to make is that it would matter if you wanted to use it for IV breeding, especially to something that needs both a good attack IV and an egg move from 'mence. Plus, if it has decent attack if can be EV-cleared and used as a bander instead of a specser after the trade. I'm just trying to understand why someone would leave out an IV just for the sake of it not mattering.
Also, what if someone wanted a good Hidden Power on that specsmence? They can't calc it without the attack IV...

If anyone AT ALL cared about that stat, yes, then it will be included. But if you have a Ditto with 2 IVs of 31 that you WANT to pass on, who cares about the other stats? They won't be passed on anyway. If you run a special attacker, who cares about attack.

Well, No one is going to want a Modest CBmence, but I can see your breeding arguement. Of course, most people are trading for pokemon to use for fighting, rather than breeding.

Shroomish! ive been breeding for way too long and they either have really good attack, or really good speed, the ones with both really good attack and really good speed are either NOT adamant or NOT poison heal... so which one of these two will i be settling on eh?

HP: 20
Att: 20 - 23
Def: 10
SpA: 4 - 5
SpD: 22
Speed: 30 - 31

2)Shroomish - #285 (Adamant)
HP: 8 - 9
Att: 30 - 31
Def: 23
SpA: 25
SpD: 22
Speed: 20 - 23

Unbelievable, there's a seperate thread for it!
http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23013

@Sniper
It was first thought to be 4, but later confirmed to be 3.

heres a thought, why not just give an opinion? this is a simple question so it fits in both threads.... and 'Unbelievable' high and mighty anyone?

both same gender, and i have the parents as a perfect attk adamant ditto and a 30 hp, 31 spd shroomish, are none useable? or should i just keep supplementing parents?

Just keep breeding them, you need max Atk and Spd, and good defenses/HP don't hurt.

Boa, I usually see people put x for an IV when it's something that doesn't (ever) matter. For example, if I stopped being lazy and bred all my Dittos with a good Beldum until I got one with good stats, I'd say something like "It has 31/30/31/x(since SpAtk doesn't matter for it, and if I ever decide to make a Choice Specs Metagross I can always breed with another Ditto for 31SpAtk and a better nature than Adamant)/31/31"

sniper CH is indeed 3x and not 4x, this was found out during the countless damage formula tests and was also posted in the research topic maybe a week ago

More like Lickylicky+Belly Drum+STAB Explosion+??????+Choice Band=WIN!

Seriously, if Lickylicky doesn't learn Belly Drum, it should. Just look at it, and tell me it couldn't drum its belly.

Question-
Is Tri-Attack actually a beam on PBR (like the description says), or is it still a triangle of red/blue/yellow?

lolz a choice banded belly drum + explosion while locked in 1 move? great fun i guess.. especially since it doesn't work
