How do you find out if a breeded pokemon has 31 IV's without the use of Rare Candy? Or does everyone use like 30 rare candies and SR if it isn't high?

by their characteristic

HP- oftendozes off
ATK- likes to thrash about
DEF- capable of taking hits
SP.atk- mischiveious
sp.def- somewhat vain
speed-alert to sounds

I start by figuring out if something has 30+ by leveling up to 10 or sometimes even lower. If it's 30 or above, I check for 31. Or, I check with the guy in Emerald.
Also, in one of my many pokemon programs on my calculator, I can insert the current level, base stat, and what IV I want to check (for 20+, I put in 20; 31, I put in 31, etc) and it will tell me what the stat should be at the next level where the stat of that IV is different than one IV below it. HP is different, so I made a seperate program for that. It's pretty useful if you know the base stats.

oh, and yes, characteristic helps if you are only checking one stat, but it won't help after that.

Like, you get an egg after 500 step, and the second egg you get after 800 step, then 450, and so on? If it is random, is it only for they dont seem to like each other that much, or for the others too?

But isn't like for example, [often dozes off] something like only 31, 25, 19, 13 and etc?

Sciz, is that calculator just like anything out on the internet or you're saying you made one? If you did, do you mind if I take a look at it?

and also, are the intervals random between getting eggs for "They don´t seem to like each other much." Hmm double battle cool =)

When I breed a male Rhydon that knows Earthquake, and breed with a female Gible, or its evolutions, will the baby know EQ?

EDIT: where can I find Gible in Wayward cave?

there are two wayward caves, the one with Gibles is hidden. Leave the entrance of the regular wayward cave and go down, then to the left and up under the bike route into a hidden entrance somewhere there. Once inside you need rocksmash to continue, and gibles are fairly common so you can't miss them.

Oh one more question.
Let's say I sent out a Duskull on a Bidoof, which gives 1 EV for HP.
Then I switch out to like a Staraptor and faints Bidoof. Does Duskull get the 1 EV, or Staraptor, or split into 0.5 for Duskull/Staraptor, or do they both get 1?

If they both get it, I can just give EXP. Share to Duskull while I EV train for HP on Bidoof?

Whoa.. so there was 2.. thanks alot :)

EDIT: didn't mean to double post, sorry
"under the bike route into a hidden entrance somewhere there." Do you mean the entrance isn't visible under the Bike route?

Yes, they both get it. And yes, the EXP. Share method will work.

You might want higher defenses, also use the 'Look What I Bred' thread.

I'm a little bit confused on using WI-Fi to battle with other trainers. Can I only battle with other trainers if I have their friend codes? If not, where do I go in the game to battle?

Second question, how do I found out what my pokemon's EV's are?
