yes pokerus doubles EVs. Spiritomb makes a pretty decent tank/and staller not much on the status maker as Tomb has a lot of better things to do IMO. It has good Atk and SAtk stats which you can exploit.
 
1. I'm new to Smogon, but have traded on a few times on other boards/forums. Some of the Pokemon I got have suspiciously good stats (they're shineys), but the info in the summaries all looks legit. Is there any foolproof way of telling whether a Pokemon is hacked or not?

2. Along the same lines as 1., I understand that Pokemon bred using hacked parents count as being hacked? How can I tell if a Pokemon I get is such a Pokemon, or is there a way to tell?

3. I understand that cloning in D/P using an Action Replay is ok. Is that right? If so, how do you clone with an Action Replay?

I believe the way pokemon are checked is by using Battle Revolution for the Wii. The game will not allow the pokemon if it is hacked. I'm not 100% sure though.

If it's bred with hacked parents though, I don't know about this.

For AR cloning, you can find the method if you search for it on youtube.
 
Sorry, I'm new here and I don't know where to go for advice, so I'm posting here again.

I have a bold Ditto with 31 speed, the only bold I have. I intend to use that to pass on the nature. I have quite a few Dittos maxing IVs in hp, def, or special def, but only one ditto with 30 in special attack. Which IVs should I go for to breed my Milotic?

Or should I whip out my Ditto-hunting Bidoof and find other Dittos?
 
kinda off topic but i really need to know. If you use a pokemon emulator on a computer with internet will you be able to use gts?

I dunno if this Celebi i got on the GTS is legit or not...
I got it from Japan and it is from Hoenn...Its ID is 31121. How else can I tell it is real?
 
@Zephyrman:Correct me anyone if I'm wrong but there is absolutely no way of finding out if a pokemon was hatched from hacked parents as even the cheat detector realizes it's LEGIT as it's attribute numbers were designed by the game itself not by hand or pokesav.
 
no it will activate only once. You can switch out after it activates to have it activate again later iirc

to check if Celebi is fake I suggest you look around for the details on all the Celebis that have been given out in events and see if any of them matches yours. Another way is to use the cheat detector.
 
you upload your save file into your pc then open it up using pokesav. from there you save the celebi's pkm file then upload it to the cheat detector and voila you get your answer. Note however that the Cheat Detector is faulty and so may return you a message saying it was hacked when it was perfectly LEGIT.
