Definitely the second one. It is very important for Blisseys to have a 31 Defense IV, because one point matters a lot when a stat is base 10. A few points of HP or Special Defense won't matter as much, since those stats are titanic already; the Speed isn't too important either.
 
i have a question about breeding,

when a pokemon passes its stats to the baby pokemon what is its limitations? are they only passed from the farther, only from the mother, or a mixed of both? and how many stats are passed on also.

Also, dose anyone know a link to a good guide for breeding?

Alright, I just finished up EV training Weavile (6 HP, 252 ATK/SPD). Just to make sure I had 252 in those stats, I used the EV-reducing berries. On my 11th Atk one, it says it has no effect. On my 11th Spd one, it says it has no effect. Is there a problem?

If your EVs in a certain stat are over 100, the first berry you use will drop them down to 100. So, using your example; 252 Speed. After the first berry it will be 100 Speed. Then 90, 80, 70, and so on.
 
Argh, I borrowed my friend's Emerald game to try cloning. I am doing everything said in this thread, but after that ~1 second pause, I save then the please wait sign comes up. I exit that, but I only have the poke in my party, not the box.

This is an Australian version, was there some sort of firmware update to it so that version doesn't clone?

EDIT: Disregard this, I found out what I was doing wrong. Fixed now.

Are the Ditto and the other Pokémon originally from games of the same language? I'd heard that when breeding Pokémon from different regions made the Everstone not work (ex. English Chimchar + Japanese Ditto = Everstone fails).
 
I'm starting to EV train my Ralts (who will become a Gallade). I have Pokerus in my party.

Ralts did not have Pokerus. I killed a Staravia. Now it has Pokerus.

So did Ralts gain 2 or 4 EVs?
 
Seeds, I think so. My Pikachu, transferred from Hoenn has full Sheen and I've never given it anything in Sinnoh.
 
I know who to kill, I just don't know where many of them gather. I'm currently training in Route 211 outside of Celestic Town, but I've only seen and fought 2 Machoke.
 
Ah, excellent. Just one more question: if I have Pokerus and a Power Bracer on a Poke, and I kill a Bibarel worth 2 Atk EVs, that means I get 12 EVs total, right?
 
Sweet! Finally, one last question, I promise:

Does Pokerus and/or Power items have an effect on vitamins? Like it'd gain 20 EVs instead of 10?

Should I just use the analysis Ev SPread for the Sleep-inducing Milotic? It'll be only around 272 Defense, is that usable or should I pump up the max hp?

Needs moar defenses. I know you don't need them as high for that set, but I'd still prefer the defenses (especially Sp.Def) to be 25+.

Can someone explain to me what Magma Storm is?

AFAIK, it's like Whirlpool/Fire Spin with the trapping and damage, but it is 120 base power.
EDIT: Yeah, says so here.
