Is a Timid Cresselia with Ivs like these usable as a calm mind sweeper? That's the best I've gotten in three hours. -_-

6 Def
31 Sp ATK
27 SP DEF
21 SPD
 
What is the best special wall/tank besides blissey and milotic, and does not have to be bred in emerald for best results?

And why does Alakazam use choice specs and not life orb?

Snorlax, maybe?

Alakazam usually uses Choice specs so it can trick them onto other pokemon.
 
What purpose does Spiritomb fill in competitive battling? I was thinking of making a staller/status-maker kinda one.

Most likely you need to max HP first. I'd probably also run roughly enough speed to at least beat the Adamant Tyranitars. You can split the rest into defenses as you won't need attack as much as you plan on flinching and getting them paralyzed.

I was planning on using a Choice Scarf Heatran myself, and trying for trade bait. It reaches 248 Speed, which is what Scarf needs, and has all-around stats. The problem is really Explosion. Does it make that much of a difference, 0 Attack IV? I read somewhere it would only affect 1% or 2%, and Explosion usually overkills anyway...

A Pokemon switches in on one layer of Toxic Spikes and gets poisoned. Later in the game a second layer of Toxic Spikes is set down and the poisoned Pokemon switches in again.

What happened to the spikes and to his status?
 
The pokemon remains poisoned (doesn't become badly poisoned) and the spikes remain - ready to badly poison the next pokemon you switch in.
 
2 questions, both for the D/P Nintendo DS game

1. Is there an easy way to make money pre-elite 4?

2. Do incences( eg: rock incence, rose incence, odd incence) do anything besides boost respective types or are they just like magnets, miracle seeds, blackglasses, etc?

2. Some of the incense are needed to breed baby pokemon like Munchlax. Breed a female Snorlax w/Full Incense to get it to produce a Munchlax egg.
