The Pokerus and Macho Brace combo quadruples the EVs you get. So in your examples, Gible would be getting 8 EVs. And Dratini would get 4 in your second example. As for the Power items, on top of what you normally get, you get 4 EVs in the stat the item corresponds to. Pokerus is factored in AFTER this. Example: Your Gible has the Attack Power item and beats a Magikarp (1 Speed). Gible gets 2 Speed and 8 Attack EVs. Without Pokerus, Gible would get 1 Speed and 4 Attack.

So..
If Gible was facing a Floatzel (2 speed), and Gible held the power speed item and had Pokerus, after beating that Floatzel, Gible would get.. 12 speed EV's?
And Gible facing a Floatzel (2 speed) with a power attack item along with Pokerus would be getting 4 speed, 8 attack?

Is a sleep-inducer and a paralyzer too much status? E.g. Togekiss and Breloom on the same team...Or is it good to have mor ethan one statuser with sleep clause?
Yep, that's right. Set that Lucario I gave you loose in the battle tower and back him up with some of your stuff and you'll be able to afford them real easy.
A question of my own, which I've asked before: What happens if you lose to Dialga/Palkia in regards to its IVs?
Since the guide says 0 EV with 30 Hp IV meaning its 1 over so you need 3 more HP. So the answer is...12 EV

An 0 EV Charizard with 30 HP IV will have Hp divisible by 4 so the next number divisible by 4 would be 31 IV Charizard + 12 EV points right? (1 extra HP from IV and 3 extra Hp from EV)

In more understandable terms (no offense, forbidden), a Charizard with a 31 HP IV and 0 HP EVs has 297 HP. To get something divisible by 4 for Salac Berry purposes, you need 3 more HP to get to 300, i.e. 12 HP EVs.

None taken, I can't use actual hp numbers since I STILL don't know how to convert base stat into actual lvl.100 stats. =(
If a pokemon with the ability Guts gets thunderwaved will it's speed stat still suffer?
yes it's speed will suffer but it still get's the buts boost iirc.
How much is too much status with regard to the question asked?
Too much status is very subjective and situational. Generally, it's not advised to have more than 2 different types of status out of paralysis, burn, and poison; having an additional sleeper is acceptable due to Sleep Clause's limitation.
When a pokemon is confused, how is the self-inflicted damage calculated (hurt itself in the confusion)? Is it simply the selected move's base power against the pokemon's defensive stat? Are STAB and type weakness factored in? BTW, it was Serebii's lack of inclusion in the status article that prompted my curiosity...
self inflected moves have a base 40 attack and with no typing (ie you cant be immune SE, NVE) also it clacuated with your atk and def stats
