Alright, so I SRed for a Bold Zapdos and this is what came out:

Zapdos - #145 (Bold)
HP: 30 - 31
Att: 16 - 17
Def: 30 - 31
SpA: 6 - 7
SpD: 22 - 23
Speed: 8 - 9

My planned moveset looks something like this:

Roost
T-Wave
Hidden Power (no clue what, but it's BP 63)/Toxic
Thunder/T-Bolt

Any suggestions? I'm particularly stuck on whether or not I should use Thunder over T-Bolt to make up for his crap-tastic Sp. Attack IV.

Once again, buried.

SRing for a Ranger Manaphy, should I keep this?

Manaphy - #490 (Naïve)
HP: 20 - 22
Att: 25 - 28
Def: 17 - 19
SpA: 13 - 14
SpD: 31
Speed: 30 - 31

Comments on my Zapdos?
It's really hard to give sound advice without knowing the hidden power or what role you need it to play in your team. For tbolt versus thunder, unless you have rain dance support, I would go with tbolt. Thunder always seems to miss at the most inappropriate times. Since you already have thunder wave, thunder doesn't even have its increased para chance going for it.

I lost in the battle factory again :-(
Anyone know the answer to my battle frontier question?

Looks good to me. Comments on my Zapdos?

[SET]
name: Defensive Roost
move 1: Thunderbolt
move 2: Roost
move 3: Hidden Power Ice / Hidden Power Grass
move 4: Thunder Wave / Light Screen
item: Leftovers
ability:
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spd

I don't know it's hard to say with out knowing the Hidden Power. The defenses are so good though, and in the Analysis set^^ they don't even put any EVs into Sp.atk so maybe it isn't that important.

Also, if it had baton pass I would say with out a doubt keep it because you could use it strictly as a support poke baton passing agilities to team mates and thunder waving stuff. That's a hard decision, I would get some other people's opinions but i'm leaning towards keep.

Also, narrowed down manaphy a little more:
Manaphy - #490 (Naïve)
HP: 20 - 22
Att: 25 - 27
Def: 19
SpA: 13 - 14
SpD: 31
Speed: 30

This question involves migrating then evolving to get a new ability. For example, Ursaring. If you had a Pickup Teddiursa in emerald and tutored it Fire Punch, could you clone it in emerald and migrate multiple ones and hope for one to evolve with quick feet? Or do all of them evolve into the same ability?
I remember Mekkah having a sig that addressed this but I don't remember what it said.

Could you use Spiritomb like this?
Hypnosis
then curse
then pain split or confuse ray if he wakes up
then use hypnosis and confuse ray until curse kills him
would this be any good

im using a +atk Dusknoir, what atk should i be shooting for if i want to OHKO Salamence/Garchomp and Gyarados with Ice and Thunder Punches, if it is at all possible?

even a link to where all those kind of stats are, or the calc for them, would be very helpful

Every clone will evolve into the same ability every time.

Would anyone in the Wifi forum be interested in something like a Adamant Bidoof with egg moves? I never see any of those going around. O_o

Alright, narrowed down some things the rest of the way.

Zapdos - #145 (Bold)
HP: 30
Att: 16
Def: 31
SpA: 7
SpD: 22
Speed: 9

Hidden Power (Ghost 63)

well, if it's for trade check to see if there's anything I have that you would want for one. Also, manaphy's for trade too '_'

I actually don't have D/P yet. I'm just getting everything ready to Pal Park and trade once I get in a few months. I'll hold a copy for you.

EDIT: Question on my EV spread for this sucker. I'm currently thinking 252 HP/166 DEF/92 SPD.
252 HP matches the analysis suggestion, 92 SPD brings his currently craptastic Speed IV up to the level of a normal no-speed Zapdos, and 166 DEF fills out the spread and bulks up his defense. My other spread possibility is 252 HP/252 DEF/6 SPD. This means I tell his Speed IV to go jump off a cliff and focus only on HP and DEF. A third option is to go with 252 HP/133 DEF/125 SPD. This brings his Speed stat to the level suggested in the Roost analysis to beat out T-Tar.

I think I want to start up a LeafGreen game in order to, among other things, catch a suicune. My question is this: I know that, once you've seen it and permanently thereafter, Suicune's (or other wandering legendary) nature and IVs are locked. when does the game decide this? At what point should I save and catch suicune, before resetting and reloading if it has a bad nature and/or IVs?

For that matter, if I were to do the same with D/P later, when are Cresselia's stats locked?

I think that all wandering pokemon (i.e. latios, latias, dogs in FR/LG, mesprit, etc.) have their natures and ivs set from the start of the game, so there is no way to SR for them. You just need to get lucky from the start and there's nothing you can do to influence it.

Also, the FR/LG dogs have been proven to have 4 ivs of 0 due to an error in the making of the games on nintendo's side. So it's probably a bad idea to use FR/LG to catch them, you should try colosseum.

EDIT: Look at Mario w/Lasers post 2 posts down for correct info.

FR/LG dogs, Latios in Ruby and Latias in Sapphire have 4 IVs of 0.
Emerald Lati@s, D/P Cresselia and Mesprit have all the IVs randomized.

In Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, the runners' IVs are randomized when you "talk" with the TV, about the wandering pokémon.
In Fire Red and Leaf Green, the runners' IVs are randomized when you get the National Dex.
In Pearl/Diamond, the runners' IVs are randomized when you talk with them, and their sprite appears in the overworld and is saved on your Pokedéx.

Synchronize works for the stationary legends in D/P.
Synchronize DOES NOT work for the runner legends in R/S/E/FR/LG.
And neither for Collosseum/XD, I think.
Synchronize DOES NOT work for NEITHER of the runners.
