Peaches: i'd go with the standard. clerics need some kind of defense, and jumpluff isnt going to be taking many hits. just watch how many people you burn.

Which would be more effective to set up first: Trick Room or Sandstream? I'm thinking of making a mono-rock team, and since most Rock-types are pretty slow, I thought it would benefit from TR, but I knew that Sandstream would also be a must.

Still waiting on an answer.

Well... you're really limited in your options of rock trick roomers, so I'd open with a sandstreamer, and then figure out whether you want solrock or lunatone as your trick roomer.

Where's a good place to EV train in attack?
I battle the Gyarados at route 229. Just use the Super Rod at the pond and you'll find them 100% of the time.

My own question:
Am I supposed to use every pokemon on the Threat List or just the OU ones?

Go to the RMT sub forums. Go to the announcement where it says "How to keep our RMT forums..." That's where the threat list is.

Are there any type of exercises, or any other types of tips and stuff to help one get better at teambuilding and battling, the whole metagame? I've been studying the metagame ever since I got Diamond back in April, I've lurked Smogon, GFAQs, and TLF, looked at guides and RMTs, but still I'm no good at team building or battling (nearly all of my wins can be contributed to luck, incompetent opponents, or D/Cs). I'm starting to wonder if this is a problem not with being inexperienced but of something I'm doing wrong in my actual practice to improve myself. Any help?

how does ohko work?
Either:
1)They one hit kill your pokemon, ie deal damage equal to or greater than your hitpoints in a single hit.
or
2)They've used Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold and gotten lucky on the 30% chance of hitting you.

Battle lots. That's really all I can recommend.

oh i tought it meant they couldn't knock out ur pokemon in one hit no matter what lol

Wow, is it true that Metagross is 2 Metang formed into one, and Metang is 2 Beldum formed into one?

So Metagross is.....4 Beldum mixed?

According to Pokédex, yes it is. But as we know Pokédex lies (Kadabra was a kid with psychic powers who woke up one day as a pokémon? Okay then)...

Ok, I won a round in the Battle Frontier...and got 1 point. So do I have to play 47 more rounds to get 47 points or what? I heard something about winning streak...
