He bred an Elekid but with Ice Punch no Cross Chop. But he needs Cross Chop, so he wants to know whether hacking Cross Chop onto it or not ruins legitimacy.

sounds like you're doing the one where you link to a friend and battle together. If that's not it, I have no clue.

It's just the battle tower where you have this option. It sounds like you are going to the lady on the furthest right. You want to go to one of the first three to battle alone.
