What does Marowak exactly outspeed with a jolly nature and 252 Spd EVs? I'm putting one on my doubles team, and, even though it's not a TR team, I don't think I'll need all the speed and was opting to make it more bulky in some way. Is this a stupid idea?

This isnt so much a question, but i figure this is the best place for it. Have any of you people noticed the pointless trade threads these past few weeks? It seems like people have like 2-3 pokes in there thread (that are of there own OT) and then they have like 10 redistributables ex. Jibakus great pokes, theManTykes Tauros, etc. Its like they have the skimpiest little thread and then load it up w/redistributables. Idk maybe its just me but i find it annoying, thats all. Commentst?

Like me? D:

I'm just too lazy to breed, lol. And Pokemon Emerald / Legend of Zelda has pre-occupied me lately.

I'm breeding Snubbull and I'd like to offer my wares when they're ready. What kind of IVs would you guys be willing to trade for? Jolly Intimdate Snubbulls with Close Combat, btw.

I'd go for as high of ivs as possible really. Definately aim for max hp and attack, but try to get the defenses up there too (IIRC snubbuls are moderately bulky for their tier)

The guys I've been popping out have max Atk and Spd, I'm trying for max Def. Never really thought about HP. Should I go for it?

does ne one feel that smogon needs more Sharpedo?
Hi-diddly-ho yes.

I think that thing's a little underestimated, and I'm really tired of everything being compared to the same Pokemon over and over and over again.

Back on NSider before it went down, and I think it was when D/P was just released in Japan, someone said something like this of sorts:

"People, please, there's almost 500 Pokemon now. USE SOMETHING ELSE BESIDES THE USUAL 6! Be creative! Be imaginable!"

Which, when they said that, they probably didn't realize about Garchomp and Weavile, which, they are kool Pokemon, but there's still just so few everywhere. Which is one reason why I dislike the whole metagame thing. What happened to just using your favorites and having fun?

I've adjusted these days, but I have a feeling I'm still gonna get clobbered by using my shiny Pokemon, hence my s/n, although, I do have a few good gems.

There's always those 12 year olds down the street who have the Lv. 40 Infernape and the Lv. 6 Starly.... XD

ANYWAY

What my point is, is that yes, I would like to see some Sharpedo. It's cool, and I love to see variety in teams, just like the guy I mentioned. There's 493 Pokemon, Probably about 460 or so if you took out the legendaries. Even without all the unevolved Pokemon and the final evolutions in, that's STILL alot of Pokemon to choose from....

IwannauseSharpedo. :P Oh, but then there's Crawdaunt. Where's that guy who has Crawdaunt as his avatar? Crawdaunt's cool too.

/endrant and the reason I didn't put that up earlier was because I was using my dad's lame laptop.

So, therefore, I have a question:

EDIT: Screw the original question. I have another.

Which is a good Ice Beamer that's not a Legendary to counter Dragons? I think I'll have one in Slowbro, but I can't get it until I get another Pearl and beat it. (I like using my own Pokemon, thanks)

HOWEVER

What others? Any sweepers? I already have a physical wall right now (and a wall nonetheless) in the form of a Bronzong, whenever I figure out which one of mine to train. A better one would be Slowbro, but this will do for now. 3 things my lackluster "team" fears: Weavile, Infernape, and Salamence.......

Damn that's a good combonation, too. :( What would be able to take down that trio anyway? Oh well. At least my Metagross could try and take down Weavile, and since it's a MixGross it'd send Infernape packing, MAYBE (this is after some support, if I could pull it off), but Salamence.... It's just so versatile. I need ice, ice baby. Or give my Tyranitar Dragon Claw instead of Rock Polish, since I have Baton Pass speed boosts now......

O_O

Wow, I think I just helped myself there a bit.

EDIT: Lol. Stone Edge hurts Salamence anyway I think. XD I realized this about 30 minutes afterwards, lol.

ANYWAY

But I still want to know what some of the better Ice Beamers are out there.

Thanks!!

Positive stats increase the stat by 50% per level. i.e SD raises Attack by 2 levels so 100% damage increase. Then how does negative levels work? 1 level cant be a 50% decrease as negative 2 levels would be dealing 0% damage from Charm. Help!!

@Shiny Elite - starmie takes out 'mence/Ape with relative ease.
Vaporeon is a good ice beamer as well and takes most of weavile's attacks neutrally, unlike starmie.

@bulba
+6 = 8/2 (400%)
+5 = 7/2 (350%)
+4 = 6/2 (300%)
+3 = 5/2 (250%)
+2 = 4/2 (200%)
+1 = 3/2 (150%)
+0 = 2/2 (100%)
-1 = 2/3 (66%)
-2 = 2/4 (50%)
-3 = 2/5 (40%)
-4 = 2/6 (33%)
-5 = 2/7 (28%)
-6 = 2/8 (25%)

I need opinions and suggestions which would be better HP Grass or HP Ice on Heatran. And what's the best usable nature and moveset for it. Is modest really the superior nature? Even with explosion?

Will there be any chance that a rock head onix from emerald will change it's ability to sturdy when it is evolved in DP?

If a pokemon has two abilities in DP, but only one in the Advance games, then it has a chance of switching when evolved, so yes.
