I have two questions:

1: this has nothing to do with DP but I was wondering. Can you put the Time Flute on a Pokemon (in Colloseum), trade it to Emerald and duplicate it, then trade it back? That would be awesome lol.

2: when evolving a Pokemon that could get a different ability in DP, is it set per Pokemon or is it random? Like, I'd Pal Park five of the SAME Yanma's with Compoundeyes, level 33 and holding a Rare Candy, evolve it and I would have a 50% chance of it becoming Speed Boost?

1:I dunno
2:It is set.

Destiny Bond, or Explosion on this lead Qwilfish set?

Qwilfish @Wet Rock/Focus Sash
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Att, 156 HP, 100 Def
~Rain Dance
~Water Fall
~Poison Jab/Sleep Talk
~Explosion/Destiny Bond

I was thinking if I go with Sleep Talk, then Destiny Bond is probably the better option. It'd be quite a waste to Explode after eating a Gengar Hypnosis. On the other hand, Destiny Bond first turn, survive a hit that'll 2HKO you. Then Rain Dance up while they sacrifice themselves, setup, or switch. Then prediction game with attack/DB. Explosion might just be more fun with the high attack though. Decisions, decisions.

@ Yoda, both are good. See, since Heatran's defences are both equal, its pretty hard to decide which.

My own question is, what does 1337 stand for? When they say 1337 IV's? I don't get that...

okay, this may be late to ask, but why is Storm FTW banned? Are his pokes hacked, because I have 5 of them...

@ evil mario - I like d-bond personally, but sleep talk wouldn't work well on it imo, because it could either explode or d-bond at the wrong time...

would dynamichpunch, thunder, blizzard, focus blast, or zap cannon be a good Idea on a gravity team?

My reason is I find a blizzard/zapcannon/triaattack/dark pulse PGZ scarry as hell...

@Mr.Goodbar- His last couple posts on smogon were pretty idiotic

hmm, too bad for him. That PZ does look scary, I didn't know gravity made attacks hit 100% of the time. Would be a good team to use a guts machamp on too.

Nobody =(

All the hack-checkers are gone. Raikou told me no. Surgo is long gone. Dawnbringer doesn't take PM's on legitimacy anymore. Mr_Goodbar4321 knows how to check I think.

Gravity only increases the accuracy. It doesn't make an instant No-Guard or anything, so stuff with really low accuracy will still miss.

Mild Heatran vs Rash Heatran

Which nature is best for a standard mixed set?
I chose rash when I caught mine, here are the pros and cons:

Mild
Pro: Heatran is 4x weak to earthquake anyways so might as well reduce defence and not get hit by earthquake

Con: Take more from other strong physical attacks like Return

Rash
Pro: Steel type with good defence make it able to take a good amount of non earth/fighting abuse
Fire/Steel typing makes most common special attacks do crap damage anyways except water

Cons: Still can't survive an EQ, takes a bit more from 2x resistant special attacks

Overall, I think Rash is better because it can survive more physical hits that way and its typing makes most special hits do crap damage anyways (e.g. Energy ball, Flamerthrower, Psychic, Shadowball)

Not really. Gravity only increases accuracy by 2 levels, or two-thirds, so Blizzard would have perfect accuracy, but Zap Cannon would still have only 83.3%, which is unacceptable for something as fragile as Porygon-Z; Thunder could work, though.

I suppose this is pushing the limits of 'simple,' but -- can anyone link to an example of a good Eeveelution team, if such a thing exists?

I battled an Eeveelution team once (with only Celebi as a non-eevee), it was really long and boring as hell, i ended up 6-0ing the person

Do the power items add 4 evs for each gained (ie battle a krickitune and get 10 attack evs) or 4 total each battle (ie battle same but get 6 attack evs)?

I think BL, not really sure. A lot of websites hold a lot of controversy on the tier issue...like I've seen Blaziken in OU on some sites, while on some hes in the BL..
