M-Pinsir starts is originally pure Bug-type. Since it doesn't share the Flying-type with its teammates, your team would be rejected.

Hey, so with the Shadow Tag suspect, what would be a good replacement for it as a special wallbreaker on Psychic? My mega slot is already used on Gallade, I'm using Latios as a scarfmon since I wanted BandTini and Mew is using Mewnium Z (btw could you also pass me a set for that?).

With z-mew and scarf latios you don’t really need a dedicated special wallbreaker especially when mew threatens most physical walls and balance in general heavily after a Nasty Plot.

Mew set:

Mew @ Mewnium Z
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Rock Polish

Alright, thanks! Any suggestions for the last slot? I have scarf latios/mew z mew/bandtini/deo-s/SD galled thus far.

Asking out of curiosity: When USUM gets released, and if not every mega stone isn't in that game (assumption), would we just play on the normal SM Mono format where we can use all megas, or the new USUM format only playing with the mega stones they provide us?

We will more than likely be able to trade Pokemon holding mega stones from SM to USUM games, as they're both the same generation and don't require Pokebank transfer. Therefore, all mega stones should remain usable.

I'm currently building a USUM Mono-Fighting team, and I am wondering what are the common threats to the Typing
Alolan Raichu, Mega Diancie, Tapu Koko, Naganadel are just some of the many huge threats to Fighting. It’s really hard to avoid these Pokemon making an irreparable difference in a match, which is why Fighting is a really bad type right now.

Hope that answers your question

I was thinking if updating my dragon-type team and I was wondering if I should consider Naganadel and/or Kommo-o. How good are they this gen?

Nasty Plot Z Draco Naganadel is very good in the metagame with only a very select amount of pokemon that can stop it after one boost such as Choice Scarf Greninja or Chansey. It definetly is better than using Kommomium Z. Though since Kommo-o did get Close Combat this gen you could use a Dragon Dance set. Though imo it will still be hard to fit on a team. Naganadel is definetly something that should be on every dragon team though.

What are a few Pokemon that really threaten flying?

My initial guess is Tapu Koko, but I'm sure there are a couple more.
BoltBeam coverage from powerful attackers will generally always threaten Flying. Example threats would be Life Orb Kyurem-B, CM BoltBeam Mega Latias, and Porygon-Z.

Kommo-o is decent if used correctly, but Naga is utterly ridiculous this gen.

Kommo-o's Z-move gave it a usage boost for sure, as it took its sweeping ability from "Agility-Life orb" to "Every Stat at +1 and access to stab 120 BP moves". It can devastate some teams, but it can also be countered by mons such as Jirachi and Greninja. Also, some priority users such as Mamoswime can usually take on a chipped Kommo-o with ice shard for the revenge kill. If you're going to use this mon, you have to make sure you know when to use your z-move or it's pretty much useless.

~Some Calcs~ Based on the Biased Special-Mixed Sweeper set

+1 252 SpA Kommo-o Focus Blast vs. 224 HP / 32 SpD Skarmory: 313-370 (95.7 - 113.1%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

+1 0 Atk Kommo-o Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 558-656 (79.3 - 93.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Or, with a +SpAtk nature

+1 252+ SpA Kommo-o Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Celesteela: 192-226 (48.2 - 56.7%) -- 36.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery (I put this calc here just to show how hard Kommo-o can hit a full bulk Celesteela.)

Naganadel has taken the Dragon and Poison metas by storm, instantly becoming a staple on most teams. Its access to nasty plot along with beast boost makes it a ludicrously powerful sweeper. That's the most common set anyways (LO + Nasty Plot). Some people perfer to use scarf but, in my opinion, that isn't utilizing it to its full potential. I would definitely recommend finding a spot on your dragon team for this mon.

~Some Calcs~ (Assume there is a speed boost for a couple of these)

-1 252 SpA Life Orb Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Kyurem-Black: 439-523 (112.2 - 133.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Even at negative one, it still murders things.)

252 SpA Life Orb Naganadel Sludge Wave vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 478-564 (139.7 - 164.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Naganadel Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 188 SpD Ferrothorn: 380-447 (107.9 - 126.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

These calcs are just 1v1's, which isnt assuming you force a switch by bring out naga and getting a boost with Nasty Plot. You can use your imagination to see what kind of havoc that can wreak.

This is what I have on my Naganadel for my dragon monotype team. What would be a good replacement for it? Someone said Dragalge, but really?

Specs Dragalge is the best answer to Fairies you'll get. Unfortunately there isn't much else.
