Resource Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer: Monotype Edition

Heyo! Just wanting to try out how fun a monotype team can be in Champions (Ik this is for gen 9 but I REALLY wanna try it in Champions), currently playing on mobile. I'm looking forward to try out several types like Ghost, Bug, Steel, MMMMMAYBE Water (lmao rain team). Right now I have a Flying team that consists of:

Staraptor @ Staraptite
Ability: Intimidate
32 Att 2 HP 32 Spe Adamant
- Protect
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- U-Turn or Roost

Talonflame @ Charti Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
32 Atk 2 HP 32 Spe Adamant
- Tailwind
- Feather Dance
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz

Gyrados @ Life Orb or Muscle Band
Ability: Intimidate
32 Atk 2 HP 32 Spe Jolly
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Taunt or Helping Hand

Aerodactyl @ Life Orb or Muscle Band
Ability: Unnerve
32 Atk 2 HP 32 Spe Jolly
- Protect
- Rock Slide
- Dual Wingbeat
- Taunt or Stealth Rocks

This is my core team so far with my last two pokemon switching between Rotom-Fan with Choice Scarf and Trick, physically bulky sweeper Corviknight with Iron Head, Gliscor, Dragonite, Rage Powder Vivillon, Charizard, Pelipper, and heck even a Nuzzle Emolga. Right now I'm fully aware that Trick Room stuffs me like a Thanksgiving Turducken, choice scarf Basculegion is scary as heck, priority support like Follow Me and Rage Powder irks my lead, and anti-priority irks my set-up.

Outside of LITERALLY BUILDING A NON MONOTYPE TEAM , what pokemon could I use as my last two to round out my team? I get a lot of support options, but coverage kind of gets laid in the wayside even though my damage output isn't too bad.
This is help for SV monotype, champions monotype is not an official meta and is something you should ask in the OM showdown room not here. Secondly, if you are going to play VGC, we can't help you either because this is for singles. Just because you really want doesn't mean you should ask here.

However, I can certainly help you. I play champions a lot, both BSS, and VGC. This first section is for singles. I think mega aerodactyl is significantly better than mega raptor but since you seem focused on it, I'm going to keep that. Since you seem to be using this on champions ladder, I will assume item clause as well. Firstly, gyarados and talon flame are not needed. Like genuinely speaking, they are not pieces worth considering. Talonflame is terrible because of stealth rocks and gyarados is imo not worth it because better dragon dance pokemon exist. For singles, go with defog spdef corv, physically defensive spike skarm, toxic gliscor with protect and leftovers, sash aerodactyle with stealth rocks, dragon dance (prob roost) dragonite, and your mega staratpor. In singles, protect is not used so it's not worth considering.

For VGC, a monotype team is VERY hard to make work, especially flying because most are weak to rock slide. However, I would replace the gyuarados with charm nuzzle emolga. Then add rage poweder sleep pwder vivillion and have a charizard-Y as secondary mega. Sun helps the basc MU, also, replace bb with dual wingbeat on talonflame. Another option is to have aerodactyl be the secondary mega because mega aero with max speed, outspeeds basc. Then, instead of mega zard-Y, you can run a bulk up corv which allows you to have more flexibility into TR as they have to focus their resources on that.
