Where's a good place to train right after the Elite 4? The trainers suddenly jumped from end-games low 50s to mid 60s. Wondering if I missed an area or something.

dont know if its been asked, but does poison hand badly poison or crud poison?

and sand power, does it boost just ground attacks or rock and steel?

I already answered these questions in the other thread.

Edit:
What does Echo Voice and Back Out do ?

Echo Voice gains power when you use it in succession, similarly to Fury Cutter. I'm pretty sure Back Out has a chance to lower the foe's SpAtk.

OK, I've looked everywhere for an answer but all I can find is the first HM. What badges give you the ability to use certain HMs?

I'm making a guide for myself of what Pokemon I'm gonna use in my team.

I have a sneaking suspiction that the 4th gym let's you use Strength and the 5th, Fly, but I'm not 100% sure. Anybody know?

(Also, I'm gonna have to wait till the game comes out to the US. I just want to show my friends this and also have this handy for when I do get it)

Bump?

Anyone?

What's the deal with the "Swim Goggles" thing? It's not on Serebii's item list :(

That list seems incomplete, no pokeballs, no old and good rods, and most important..
I dont see any kind of "re-battler" item.. well maybe the live caster have that function now...

anyone with the game know how you can rebattle trainers in this version?

What's the status of the Battle Recorder? Did that return, or is there another equivalent item?

Youtube careers are at stake!

What's a better investment in the long run; splitting 252 EVs between HP and Speed for a Pokemon with small base HP and Speed, or ignoring HP completely and fill Speed with 252 EVs?

Couldn't get an answer anywhere else.

Depends on which Pokémon it is and what you want it to do.

sorry if this has been asked already but 29 pages makes my eyes go crossed.
how do pokemon learn previous/deleted level up moves in BW? is there a tutor? does the tutor continue to take heart scales or is it another mechanism?

Move Relearner is in the house to the right of the Pokemon Center in Fukiyose City (5th gym). He's the one at the top left inside house. Move deleter is top right inside the house. You need a Heart Scale to relearn moves.

Still looking for answer on this. The wild mons are 60 which isn't too bad, but it still seems like I missed a town or something.

1) No idea. Which city is Sekka? I'll look for it.

2) You've probably noticed vending machines littered around towns, particularly Hiun City.

I know that, but I didn't want to point out anything specific, which is why I mentioned low base HP and low base speed.

I suppose a better question is, is it ever worth investing EVs into HP? Every Pokemon I've EV'd some HP for doesn't get too much of a wild boost in health. During level up it's common for me to see aound +62 speed or so, but any time I do HP investment, just seems like a waste, and that the increase isn't exponential.

I'd just feel bettter about it if HP investing does make a difference. It just seems like speed investing on everything is that much better.

The one with rain and the Ice gym. FB, Thunder, and Blizzard are available in the Mart section but I can't find Brick Break.

Thanks @ the vending machines (:

HP goes up the same amount as any other stat when EVing. You're probably screwing something up.

I am certain I am not making mistakes, I just don't see a huge jump at one time during level up. I keep track of every EV ever gained.

Perhaps it's one of those accumulating scenarios where you gain a small boost over time, but at the end that number matches up to 252 EVs (or, basically, 63 extra points in that stat). Maybe this rule applies to HP, because I do see +3 to +5 upon level up occasionally, but other stats like speed just get the +62 boost at once.

Hey there, hopefully this hasn't been asked, please notify me if it has. Is there any source online that has the locations of tm's and hm's for the 5th gen? I really need to find the HM strength, I've just got my 7th gym badge, and I'm at a loss on how to advance without strength.. Unless I have overlooked something lol

Edit: I have moved down and towards the east from the building that I was stuck in, and now I'm in front of a large building with two plasma grunts in front of it. Whenever I talk to them, they don't battle me, they just stand there... Any ideas?

It's back in Raimon City (the one with the Ferris Wheel). A guy with blue hair above the Pokemon Center gives it to you.
