I don't really know how to ask this, so I'll just say it. Walk (Double) and Walk (Special). lol.. WTF. It says, that in Route 15, Walk(Special) Tyranitar. WTF? And how do you do this in Water? And while fishing?

Special means that it can only be found through an encounter (albeit rarely) in shaking grass.

Walk in double grass. Walk in special terrain patches.

Ninja'd, but oh well, I guess two people answering lets him be "100% sure"

evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Overheat
move 3: Shadow Ball
move 4: Pain Split / Hidden Power Fighting
item: Life Orb / Leftovers

HP Fighting or Pain Split?
Leftovers or Life Orb?

This actually probably shouldnt be asked here, but I need to figure it out.

I use Action Replay. I use it to "speed up the process" of getting the pokemon and EV training them. I speed up this process because I work and 50+ hours a week, and still do more side work for my independent business. Not saying that I hack because I believe I "deserve" to, nor do I want people to think that I think I am justified in doing so.

Anyways, what exactly is a "legit hack?" I did a quick search but I didn't find much.

One thing I do is I will catch a perfect IV male, and a perfect IV female, and I breed them together a few times till I get a pokemon with 3 perfect IV's in what I want. Would that be considered non-legit? I don't aim to get shineys or perfect IV fighting machines with hacked attacks. Just the pokemon with semi reasonable IV's and speed up the ev training.

I don't want to get into a discussion on the morality of it. I just want to know whats... allowed? I guess?

Again, I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask this.

Yeah sure. Alright. Lol, if you could've just explained it "more clearly". Doubled = Darker Grass. Special = Shaking Grass, dust in caves etc. At least you've proved me that asking here isn't "100% Sure".

"Double grass" is a dark patch of grass that lets you encounter higher-leveled Pokémon than ones in normal grass, and of course has the possibility of activating a Double Battle.

"Double Grass" is just the darker shades of grass where you can encounter two 'mons at once.

Alright, thanks.

Okay, now should I choose Pain Split or HP Fighting?

Depends on the rest of your party. HP Fighting can handle normal, dark and rock types well, the latter two being Chandelure's counters. However if you're already packing, say, Conkeldurr, that might not be necessary. I would honestly go with HP Fighting, only because I can't see a proper use for Pain Split seeing as Chandelure seems to fill the roll of glass cannon to me, and is either 'kill or be killed'. I understand where they're going with the recommendation but I can't say I personally agree.

I would still ask for a second opinion though, honestly.

The offspring of those two Pokémon will be considered a hack, but they'll pass as legit in hack-checks I believe.

"Legal hacks" are hacks that are possible to get without using any device, etc. (i.e. A normally-EV'ed Mixmence with the same moves and any IV's, but the hacked part of it being something like "Route 5 - Met at level 100.")

Thanks. That helps a lot. :]

Can I get another to confirm if the offspring would pass as legit in hack-checks? I doubt I ever would do anything or apply for anything that would require hack checks, considering I would never plan on doing a tournament aside from over battle simulators... but I just want to know for sure, so I can plan ahead if I ever do decide to enter a tournament using the DS cartridge at some event...

They best way they can tell, is if they ask you to put it in the battle subway or something, it rejects hacks. It checks for the correct PID, to make sure it matches up with your ivs, nature, and ability. If you scroll through some PIDs on the pokesav/gen, you should fine a legit one.

I used Magic Coat Deoxys-S in PBR against Uber-abuser in-game noobs, it does indeed deflect it.
Thx. In doubles, does it stop your partner from getting hit by it?

And where do I pick up my Dream World Leafeon after I beat the mini-game?

Yes, since it has like +7 priority or something and steals the Dark Void, and uses it on their Pokémon instead.

Nobody knows when they'll release the DW Eeveelutions for us.

IT bounces any non-attacking moves back, so its pretty much the same as Counter and Mirror Coat....I think your getting it mixed up with Snatch....

Porygon2 used Magic Coat!
Porygon2 shrouded itself with Magic Coat!
The foe's Accelgor used Toxic!
Magic Coat bounced the Toxic back!
The foe's Accelgor was Badly Poisoned!

Nope, I meant Magic Coat. Also, someone informed me that Snatch isn't affected by Dark Void.
