I need a Rapid Spinner for a Sun team. What are the best options?
Yes, the NPCs will still mess with your frame if they are off screen. And no, turning in place does not count as a step.I have an RNG question. If I'm in an area with NPC's, but they're off-screen, do they still alter the frame? I'm trying to RNG a Landorus. Also, if I have to walk 128 steps to advance the frame by # of pokemon in my party, does turning in place count as a step?
I was considering Hasty. How important is maximum possible speed on Zekrom?Naughty or Adamant. Jolly is an option as well if you want a faster variant of Scarf Zekrom (though it still won't be able to outrun DDRayquaza, so Adamant is usually the way to go).
Im working on an offensive team and need good lead, what are some good options? On the team alread are a Scizor, Omastar, Darmanitan, Chandleure, and Ferrothorn
Thank you, any particular set you would recomend with any of those?Kojondo, Swampert, and Machamp could all work quite well for an offensive team, especially when taking your members into perspective.

I would personally run Moxie on Pokemon Online or Wi-Fi where there is 6v6, but since Random Wi-Fi only has 3v3, your not gonna get too many boosts from Moxie and better off with Shed Skin to protect you from Burn or Paralysis, both of which can hinder your sweep (completely end it if your burned).Hey guys, I just bred a batch of Jolly Scraggys with the Dragon Dance/Drain Punch moveset. I have both a Moxie one and a Shed Skin one.
I disagree; since he's running drain punch, he'll need some of the extra power from Moxie.I would personally run Moxie on Pokemon Online or Wi-Fi where there is 6v6, but since Random Wi-Fi only has 3v3, your not gonna get too many boosts from Moxie and better off with Shed Skin to protect you from Burn or Paralysis, both of which can hinder your sweep (completely end it if your burned).
So Shed Skin because your not gonna get too many boosts from Moxie with each of you only having 3 Pokemon and because in 6v6 someone can help protect you from status, where as in 3v3 you can't afford to waste an extra slot and it would be better for Scrafty to protect himself.
He's using Dragon Dance, so he can already boost his attack without the need for Moxie. And Moxie only boosts when you KO something, so there is no immediate boost from Moxie, meaning by the time he KOs something he will already have a few boosts in attack.I disagree; since he's running drain punch, he'll need some of the extra power from Moxie.
The extra power would help, but it's not necessary. Even if it was, that wouldn't matter much because those boosts can't be expected in the first place, especially if you aren't hitting hard enough already to earn one.I disagree; since he's running drain punch, he'll need some of the extra power from Moxie.
Unless he decides to run HJK; Then I'd go with Shed Skin.
You don't get a Moxie boost unless you can KO something. If you don't have the power to get at least one KO, Moxie won't help with any more of them, so it's a moot point.Exactly, but you don't always have time to get up multiple DD's. Besides, keep in ming the Moxie boost is definite; Shed skin only has a 30% chance of activating each turn.
Scrafty's bulky, so as long as you don't switch it in on Conkeldurr or Thundurus (always has Focus Blast because of small move pool) you should be able to get a few DDs off, especially if the enemy wastes time burning or paralyzing, then Shed Skin just gave you an opportunity to set up even more DDs.Exactly, but you don't always have time to get up multiple DD's.
Not necessarily. If you have shed skin and get burned, what happens if it takes 3+ turns to activate? I personally run moxie because I don't have a problem with status, but I figured eventually shed skin would screw me over. (I run max speed+Attack, so not THAT much bulk).Scrafty's bulky, so as long as you don't switch it in on Conkeldurr or Thundurus (always has Focus Blast because of small move pool) you should be able to get a few DDs off, especially if the enemy wastes time burning or paralyzing, then Shed Skin just gave you an opportunity to set up even more DDs.
Da Gold Sun, if you can't decide on which to run, then test them both out. You said you have one of each, so just EV them both and use them both and keep the one you prefer. If you need help EVing, then just PM me and I can do it in an hour if I'm not busy.
Did you test this in 3v3 or 6v6? Because as I said, 3v3 has less Pokemon to support Scrafty and less Pokemon to get boosts from. And even if it does take a good three turns, Scrafty is really bulky. Not necessarily. If you have shed skin and get burned, what happens if it takes 3+ turns to activate? Yes, I only play 3v3 and use Scrafty fairly often. It can't take hits THAT well without any investment. It takes them well enough, but not excellently.Did you test this in 3v3 or 6v6? At this point, I think the Origional Poster should just look over both of our arguments and decide, with the rest of his team in mind, which of our ideas he prefers. If Da Golden Sun can't decide, he can train them both and test them both and choose the one he prefers. This is the SQSA Thread, and this thread is not the best place to begin a heated argument.
Sorry, I just type slow an I think my keyboard is starting to wear down, so I type a few sentences, post them, and edit on the rest of my idea afterwards so I don't make anyone wait for my post. The problem is, both abilities have situations where one is more useful then the other, and where not arguing which is useful, but which we think will become useful more often. Ultimately, it's which sounds more appealing to the original poster and which suits his team more.EDIT: lol every time I quote you, you edit your post... But yeah, it's really a matter of opinion, and I don't see either of ours changing soon.
