Hey, I need some help. When I try and do anything on the sim, it doesn't do it. Whether it be a message, battle, or trying to join a tournament.
For example, the register button goes grey after I click on it, but I never get in. Also, I can never find a random battle. I just ignores my request. As for messages, I can type them, but they never go to the chat. Any idea what I should do? I havent had a chance to use any of the gen V pokemon yet because of this.

What's error n^1? (Replace the ^ with a little circle). I'm getting this error whenever I try to login...this started during this afternoon, right after one of my battles froze and I had to log out.

It has been said that the limit to get to vote in the suspect discussions is 1500, which you can see by right-clicking your name and selecting 'view rating' or whatever. Beyond that, the way it works is that the higher you are, the better you are, and they are done much like chess rankings IIRC. The rankingbot tells you how you are positioned related to everyone else.

Following this, I obviously travelled off to PO and tried it, which unfortunately led to my Standard OU team, less one Latios, accompanying an un-EV'd Lickilicky with the first four moves on the list into a very confusing DW battle (which I won. You wouldn't believe the guy I played against). From thi I would guess it just hasn't been updated yet.
It is reasonably random (not an oxymoron, I'm sure) when it goes down, but maybe once a day would give a rough indication. As to rising up the ranks, that is not how it works. It is dependent on your rating and your opponents.

I'm sorry, but there are a lot of idiots on the internet, and you can never be sure based on such a short post. Anyway, have you tried going on a different server or under a different nickname. Alternatively, make sure that you have the most updated copy of PO and you have a strong, consistent internet connection, which can be the cause of such problems. Do you get any kind of error message, such as something up the top of the chat box?
Such Pokemon are called Legal Hacks, and they generally allowed in Tournaments on Smogon, although some wifi purists will frown on them. As for Nintendo tournaments like the VGC, they are not allowed and the Pokemon will be submitted to hack checks. These hack checks check every part of a Pokemon, but they will allow a Pokemon to pass if it is done correctly.
