ATTENTION! Bad Hidden Power Calculators!

You're calculating the IVs wrong then, why would you even use psypokes in the first place tbh...?
If the IVs are what you said they were then it's HP Ice...

That's why I only use Metalkid's. As to what you should do about the Magnezone, my advice is just to alert those who you traded it to, and see if they want their Pokemon back. I mean it's a great Magnezone, some people might want to keep it, but I don't think the conditions really warrant a giveaway.
Edit: Huh, yeah, it really is HP Ice...

The ivs are right, but psypokes was wrong about he Hp. So I just saying heads up dont use this and should I give it away or just let the people come back to me if they care.

Edit: They arn't right in the quote, it was wrong about the Attack stat for some reason.

You're confusing me...
If the IVs are right, then the hidden power is Ice 68...

Attack doesn't matter, whether it's odd or even it is still HP Ice.
Only thing is whether the base power increased or decreased.

It was wrong in the Atk stat, then? Well, I don't see why you'd use any one other than Metalkid's...

Have you ever seen psypokes its like the simplest thing ever. It was also the first on I ever used. I'm freeking pissed as hell about it though.

Wait, so that Magnezone is 12/28/22/31/31/31? That IS HP Ice 68! You might want to double-check the HP, Atk, and Def IVs, as that combination is impossible for HP Dragon. 12/28/23, on the other hand...

(Metalkid's calculator is still better than Psypokes's--more accurate AND you can do more with it. Psypokes's calculator looks too simplified.)

Psypokes Calculator:

12/29/22/31/31/31: HP Ice 68
12/28/22/31/31/31: HP Ice 68

Metalkid Calculator:
12/29/22/31/31/31: HP Ice 68
12/28/22/31/31/31: HP Ice 68

Metalkid and Psypokes give the exact same Hidden Power for both of the EV spreads you've given. So basically, you're screwing up, not Psypokes.

What he's saying people is that Psypoke calculated the stats wrong, which means the Calc gave him the wrong Hp by extention. Not that that set of IVs came up as the wrong hidden Power on an IV calc.

Definitely a PEBKAC error from the looks of it. Now the OP is saying that the IVs are 13/28/22/31/31/31. That's still HP Ice 68! Either that Def IV is 23 or the Hidden Power wasn't tested thoroughly enough.

Shouldn't this thread be closing soon? (You know, because it doesn't promote discussion.)

I prefer Serebii's to Metalkid's. It's never been wrong for me =/

Serebiis gives the wrong Hidden Power. When i was breeding my Ampharos it said my HP was Ice 70, I posted it in the 'Look what i bred topic' and someone said that the IVs I posted dont give it Ice 70, it was electric 63 or something.

IMO the only things Serebii is good for are news and dex information. It's not really the place I go to look for competitive information, just egg moves and such. Plus it's chock full of noobs.

Serebii's never gives exact IVs if the Pokemon isn't a high-enough level; it always returns a RANGE. I used to use Serebii's for a Stat Calculator until I developed one of my own from Excel. Serebii's calculator shouldn't be used for IVs unless you've kept track of the EVs (which you should do, anyway) and the Pokemon in question is at least Level 70 or so.

all IV calculators have off days, serebii and metalkid have given me wrong hidden powers too

If you're given accurate IVs to work with, I've never heard of a Hidden Power calculator anywhere that gives the wrong HP. The problem usually exists when people try to calculate IVs based on insufficient data, and the calculator is forced to return a range of IVs, and guess a Hidden Power based on that.

Yea this thread should be devoted to stop people from using serebii's faulty calculator (is wrong about IVs too usually)
