Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started messing with randbats in 2018 because my brother introduced me to showdown, but I never started competitive until the end of SS around July 28th, 2022. I’ve focused on both DOU and OU but I’ve never reached past 1400. I struggle with team building and meta analysis and I’d prefer to focus on those primarily. Things like how to create synergetic cores of Pokémon and help keeping up with the meta.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing years ago, since around XY, because my best friend played competitively and I wanted to join in. I never excelled at it and mostly saw my friend play or played exclusively random battles, but I started playing more actively during SM with an electric Monotype team I was really proud of. I dropped off for a while because I was severely disappointed with SwSh but would later find out the competitive scene was apparently better than ever and so I started following channels like Freezai (it's mostly Freezai) without really playing myself and just keeping up with the meta, bans and new strategies. Now I wanna play for real, go big, and I'd like a helping hand. Also my PS! account has been the same for years but I never actually made a Smogon account until now so that's why it's new but I swear I've been here long.

Started playing again when SV came out and started entering tours on smogon this year. I think I have an ok baseline of knowledge (1750 in cg ou, around 1500-1650s in all of ss-oras on ladder) want to get better at building & overall play specifically for smogon tournaments.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing the UU/RU meta, finding the tiers to be more enjoyable and fun for playing, but I have interest on getting better. Slowly started to get immersed in the competitive world. I don't know much, besides the basics in Competitive Pokemon, barely 1 month, to be specific. I'm looking to get better in Pokemon Competitive in general.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing competitive pokemon back in SS and was a dedicated stall player, with stall being nerfed in gen 9 (mostly recovery move PP), I am struggling with SV OU's offensive meta without my most familiar archetype. I have no real sense of what's the line between balance and offense teams and struggle to build such teams. I have mostly used hyper offense in SV OU but quite frankly I've just been making Glimorra+( 4 offensive mons)+ Kingambit teams.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokémon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing almost three years ago l'm an active draft player but I'm trying to get more into Smogon. I have played a decent amount of lc and had some meager results in tournaments. I've been able to reach 1400-1500 on ladder I believe I'm currently sitting at around 1400 on the RU ladder. I'm looking to participate in tournaments and be able to place fairly high. I'm also a fairly competent builder and would like some advice on RU teambuilding.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon: I've played only randbats in my first year in Showdown with my name 'Drakuna' and peaked 1700 at one point. Randbats lost it's touch to me after a devestating elo drop in GEN 5 randbats of me going to 1600 and was dropped back to 1000 after a series of brutal loses. I now play mostly mono type as the challenges and strategic aspects of it intrigues me.

I have been struggling on team building and the concepts around it so having help in customizing a team would be nice. I have always been struggling with making a good team ever since I started playing because I have no idea on the frameworks of making a strong team. So I would like to know what makes a good viable team and what I need to do to accomplish that.

I started playing playing in tours with RBY Majors I at the start of 2022, which I got to the I think the quarter finals of. I then played in the 2022 RBY Global Championships and made it to the quarter finals aswell. I played in RBYPL 2022 for PU and went 3-2. I feel as if I'm missing a certain something in my play I can't quite put my finger on, which is why I'm looking for help.

I have been playing Pokemon for a lot of years but I’ve been stopping from time to time. I know the fundamentals pretty well and I came back to showdown like two-three weeks ago to play gen9 ou. At first it was hard bc i hadnt played Scarlet nor Violet but now i am pretty well familiarised with the majority of mons. I played with 2 accounts and I got to 1500 recently with both of them but I want to improve the way I play and get to high ladder.

Played competitively since Gen 4 when the physical/special split was implemented. Played casual OU in Gen 7 and then quit entirely in Gen 8 as I wasn't a fan of G-Max. Have played plenty of card games in between, getting Masters in Shadowverse, Eternal and Legends of Runeterra. In card games I can't deck build and that's the same with Pokemon, can't build a team to save my life. I am decent with predictions but have struggled to break 1400+ since coming back to the game. I would like to improve and reach 1700-1800 ideally getting to the top 500 leaderboard.

I am looking to advance my knowledge in both the teambuilder and in my battles. I also love to have fun and build silly teams whilst remaining viable but my ability as a teambuilder has significant room for improvement
