Ballin' and SandStallin'

Okay. I love Sand. I love Stall. WHY NO SANDSTALL UBERS TEAM??? IMA MAKE IT!!!!

(THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST TEAM I'VE EVER MADE)

Week27Scolipede-1.png

Scolipede-Swarm(YatoNoKami)(SHINY)
Jolly-Focus Sash
4 HP, 252 DEF, 252 SPEED
-Toxic Spikes
-Spikes
-Steamroller
-Pursuit
The fastest Toxic Spiker in the entire metagame, With max defense and Sash to almost guarantee a Double T-Spike Setup. Spikes for some extra set-up if I Can pull it off. Steamroller for some fast STAB Flinchhax Attacking, with swarm to boost it's power a little. Pursuit to chase anything that decides to switch away. The EVs allow it to slightly survive a physical lead and set up a lot moar.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar-Sand Stream(SunaRaijin)
Sassy-Leftovers
100 ATK, 252 HP, 156 DEF,
-Dragon Tail
-Fire Fang
-Crunch
-Stealth Rock
(Usually) Comes up right after Scolipede Sets up, And sets up rocks, Then Proceeds to phaze away at the enemy, Spreading hazards, and Fire fanging and steels that get forced in, Crunch for STAB and to eliminate Reuniclus, a common enemy. EVs allow it to take most hits pretty well.

Arceus-Multitype(EternalOne)
Bold-Stone Plate
252 HP, 152 DEF, 104 SP.A
-Recover
-Flamethrower
-Cosmic Power
-Judgement
Why I have never seen this build is seriously amazing. IT'S THE BEST WALL IN THE ENTIRE FKING GAME. It hits an insane level of defenses and HP even without setup, and can recoverstall, Hit pretty damn hard, Flamethrower Steels, and Judgement for Strong STAB.

mewtwo.jpg

Mewtwo-Pressure (Kishin)
Modest-Choice Scarf
4 HP, 252 SP.ATK, 252 SPEED
-Psystrike
-Aura Sphere
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
The Revenge Killer from hell.
With scarf It outspeeds almost everything in the entire metagame, Smacks hard with Psystrike for STAB, Aura Sphere to kill enemy Rocks & Steels, Shadow ball to kill enemy Psychics, and T-Bolt for Water killing. (it also resists fighting, making it a good switch-in defensively)

Celebichao.png

Celebi-Natural Cure
Bold-Leftovers
252 HP, 100 DEF, 100 S.DEF, 56 SP.A
-Heal Bell
-Psychic
-Recover
-Toxic
It Clerics The entire team of status, and can Kinda wall in it's own right. It can spread toxic, and Can Energy Ball enemy waters. It resists Fighting and Water too, (Like latias did)
Psychic To deal with those damn fightings.

LATIAS WAS REPLACED WITH CELEBI

346Cradily_Dream.png

Cradily-Storm Drain(WallOfDiks)(SHINY)
Bold-Leftover
152 HP, 100 SP.A, 152 DEF, 104 SP.D
-Energy ball
-Toxic
-Stockpile
-Recover
Absorbs Water that is aimed at Probopass, and TTar, and can easily set up Stockpile and Recoverstall, with Energy ball for STAB + Toxic to take care of those enemys if my T-Spikes got spun away or something along those lines.

nice team, the problem i see is that ur team is kinda weak to mewtwo with calm mind, and change fire fang to fire punch on tyranitar

Yeah good point. I learned that a while ago, but I forgot to replace it!
Calm Mind Mewtwo could do some damage...

i like sandstall, so in that aspect nice team. you seem to focus almost all your attention on killing steel types, but what happens if they lurekill cradily? then you can be swept by bulky grounds, ESPECIALY groudon. he takes away sandstorm and has moves to kill almost all of your guys. your only hope of stopping a rock polish groudon sweep or even swords dance sweep is toxic spikes and energy ball. if toxic spikes are spun away or not set up heres what can kill you,

Groudon @ leftovers
ability: drought
adamant nature (+atk -spa)
- fire punch
- earthquake
- rockpolish/swords dance
- substitute/rest
EVs: 200 hp/ 200 atk/ 108 def/ 6 spd (this spread may be inacurate)

also, toxic is not necessary on both cradily and celebi. having toxic spikes, and toxic on 2 pokemon is like having leaf storm and energy ball on celebi in case you run out of pp.

if toxic spikes fails to set up, this team doesn't have much hope. i guess your good type wise, arceus walls everything exept ground and fighting, celebi walls fighting and grounds are taken out by energy ball i guess, as long as they don't have scarf.

Scolipede's relying on Sash for survival, so the Defense EVs are irrelevant. Put 'em into Attack. Also, Steamroller's flinch chance is 30%, and one Megahorn is about as good as two Steamrollers.

Also, if CM Mewtwo gives you trouble, you may want to put Trick somewhere on your own Mewtwo to put that threat to pasture.

Seeing as your Scolipede is a suicide lead and won't be hanging around for very long, your team gets wrecked by Toxic Spikes. You also don't have a spinner, which is pretty necessary for a stall team. You also have no counter for other weather inducers (Kyogre, Groudon).

I think I played this team and beat you, its a good team, I think the biggest weakness is fighting types, although 3 resist, 3 are also weak so mewtwo aura sphere might give you trouble, also, what stops dmeteors and outrages. I would also take the scarf off of mewtwo, hes already fast enough and with that amazing coverage, you could kill many switch ins with a life orb or expert belt. I also recommend a WOWer, just because youre a stall team and there are a good many flyers, levitaters that wont be toxiced by your spikes. steels also hurt your many rock types and are immune to tspikes

Guys, Thanks for the support, But I've deemed this team kind of a failure... I'll edit it up, but It really won't dominate in Ubers unfortunately...

Hi brotha Serebii n00b. If you okay being called that. I think people have deemed sandstall to be a fail. Sandstorm in Ubers is a bit of a fail. (again.) With all the Kyogre's flying around with their pretty Scarfs, T-Tar gets the crap blasted out of him by High Pressured blasts of water coming out of a hidden blowhole.

No offense, but your team was probably just played wrong. I actually lost once to a sand stall team, with kyogre on my team. You have to have a pokemon that won't be killed by any form of kyogre at all and can troll him, and force a switch. Sandstall is viable and complete possible, it just takes WAY more work than others teams. You also need a pokemon that can function in any weather. Excadrill is amazing on sand stall as he outspeeds in sand, and provides some strong resists to dragon attacks with his steel typing. He will also provide a rapid spin for your team.
