And now we find ourselves on the downhill going towards the end of the battle. It is now time for NyxNocturne to release his last Pokemon to go up against the ferocious Dromaeus. He takes out his final Pokeball, and, throwing it out in the air, yells, "It is all up to you now Sheldon! Finish them off!" Sheldon the Grotle comes out of his Pokeball, and faces defiantly up towards the prehistoric bird now swooping around the sky. However, just as he comes out of his ball, Dromaeus starts to cheer and catcall about Sheldon's weight like we saw earlier in the fight, and Taunts Sheldon for so long that it is incapable of not letting off its frustration in direct attacks. In this case, despite NyxNocturne's orders, Sheldon finds himself completely incapable of letting off the ordered Leech Seed, and so is reduced to just sitting there unable to move for a while. Not a great start, but it is at least unharmed and dangerous going forward.

Then, Dromaeus moves ahead to try to outmove Sheldon again with his superior speed. It prepares the Stone Edge of each of its wings, and moves them out in front of itself to try to protect itelf. Sheldon moves around beneath him and lets off a huge number of Razor Leaves towards Dromaeus. They fly up in huge volumes, and Dromaeus flies around between them, while knocking others away from its body. The Stony Edges of its wings stop it being hurt too much, and so it escapes unharmed after the attack, but still doesn't attack Sheldon.

Finally, Archen goes about actually attacking Sheldon properly. It moves around in weird circles, and slowly summons up an Ancient Power to attack Sheldon with, and eventually slows down for a bit. It uses the built up power and energy to launch heavy rocks from around the arena in a huge beam towards Sheldon, knocking it back from the centre of the disk. Unfortunately, Archen is too far away to knock it off completely, but Sheldon is blown back, and because of the taunt is completely unable to attack again, leaving it sitting helpless by the side of the ring. It now waits, agitated by the taunt and its inability to move, and lets out a Roar towards the sky. It looks like NyxNocturne will really have to gun it this round, and it will be interesting to see what it can do!

We left off last time with Sheldon looking small and frustrated at the airborne antics of Dromaeus, who was slowly wittling him down while avoiding all of his attacks. This time, however, they both look like they are willing to just duke it out properly, and Sheldon looks like he has more of a chance. Dromaeus begins the round by dropping down out of the air, and landing straight on Sheldon's back!. He sits on him, Plucking at the tufts on his back, and tearing the foliage growing on him apart piece by piece. Sheldon feels him ripping up back there, and so he bucks suddenly, knocking Dromaeus off his back and whipping round to Bite him as he flies off. He holds him in his mouth, tightly clamping down on him, And not letting him really move that cleanly.

However, with his claws free, Dromaeus manages still to Claw Sharpen while being waved around in Sheldon's mouth. He brushes his wings together to add a razor edge to them, which improves his attacking prowess, as well as his accuracy. However, with him caught in Sheldon's mouth, he is hit at point-blank range when Sheldon releases a Seed Bomb from out of his mouth, which hits Dromaeus out of his mouth and across the record, where he lands on the ground, and slowly gets up. The bomb hit him hard, but they are looking more and more evenly matched as time goes on, and he looks like he is ready for revenge.

He moves up quickly, boosted his efforts while in Sheldon's mouth, runs up to Sheldon, wings outstretched. He launches himself the last few feet, and batters Sheldon repeatedly with Wing Attacks, pushing him back towards the edge that he is still near. Sheldon's weight helps slow him down, but he teeters near the edge, before finally he can stop the blows from Dromaeus. He holds him still, and uses a Mega Drain on Dromaeus to take back some energy from him, sapping life force for some time, and finally discarding the weakened bird off to the side. This leaves Sheldon sitting on the side of the record, slightly refreshed after the last attack, and looking down on Dromaeus, who is only slowly picking himself up after a long fight. It looks like the fight is beginning to take its toll on both contestants, and we seem to be moving towards the finaly stages of the battle. It looks like it might well be settled in the next round!

We are now reaching the final stages of the battle. NyxNocturne's final Pokemon, Sheldon, is beginning to look a bit beaten up, and Banryu's Dromaeus is looking like it is just on its last legs. Dromaeus once again starts the round, summoning up its Ancientpower again to fling around a giant rock it finds. In responce, Sheldon throws over another Seed Bomb towards Dromaeus to try to knock it out once and for all, but Dromaeus manages to fire its rock straight at the bomb, and the projectile nature of the rock means that it makes the bomb explode in mid-air, blowing up loudly but ineffectively, and leaving both unharmed.

Then, Dromaeus jumps back on to Sheldon once more to begin Plucking at the roots on its back, tearing it up and causing it to struggle a great deal. Nonetheless, it still manages to continue its Synthesis, struggling slightly because of the shade caused by Dromaeus, but eventually fully restoring as it was trying to do. It also knocks Dromaeus off its back, but does not catch it in its mouth this time, and Dromaeus merely flies to the other side of the record.

Finally, both contestants let off their final attacks for the round. Dromaeus screeches up towards Sheldon, and attack it with furious Wing Attacks as it goes, beating it back towards the edge of the disk. It gets him close to the edge, but eventually Sheldon lets off one more giant Seed Bomb at Dromaeus, blowing it away and almost over the edge. It doesn't knock it out, but Dromaeus looks like it is at the point where it will be easily knocked out by most blows, so we might soon see the final match-up. But anyway, that is still in the future, and for now we can only watch the final moments of this duel between Dromaeus and Sheldon!

And so we find ourselves in what is probably Dromaeus' last round: it looks like it is on its last legs, and it is probably going to just try to do as much as it can in the remaining time it has. It begins by jumping into the air and swooping down on Sheldon. As it passes, it batters it from above with a battered Wing Attack, annoying it but not stopping it from going for a finishing blow. It summons up a huge volume of leaves, and throws them all out at Dromaeus like knives. The Razor Leaves speed towards Dromaeus, and cut him almost to pieces when they collide in mid-air. Dromaeus almost passes out, but manages to hold on for just one more attack before he is finally knocked out.

As his last attack, he once again drags himself air borne and speeds towards Sheldon, wings outstretched. He attacks with one final Wing Attack, and stops near Sheldon, his energy spent. Sheldon moves over, and and absorbs the last of Dromaeus' life force with a Mega Drain, finishing him off. This leaves him out cold, and the score tied at one Pokemon each. It now lies with Banryu to release his final Pokemon, so we can move into the last phase of the match.

Personality: The change in life cycle drastically altered his behavior. Whereas before Myrmeleon was laid-back and always hungry, as a Vibrava he is very active, moving almost constantly, and is now very alert to sounds. His underlying personality, however, remains mostly the same-- he remains a staunch competitor due to his unfailing grit and perseverance in tough situations. In battle, he has developed separate fighting styles: one reminiscent of his days as a Trapinch, where he would huddle underground and strike with powerful Ground attacks, and one above-ground, where his new wings give him much higher mobility as well as access to sonic attacks. He is still developing his ability to fly, as well as his affinity for moves of his newfound Dragon typing.

And thus the final duel of the match begins. Myrmeleon comes out of its Pokeball and swoops around the field, looking out on the weakened Sheldon and ready to finish the match off. It starts off by flying up into the air and letting off a powerful Sonicboom from afar, and the powerful shock waves hit Sheldon from across the arena. Sheldon, in return, starts a frenzied dance with a bunch of swords that it seemingly produced from nowhere. The Swords Dance boosts his attacking prowess for a bit, and in fact will probably boost him up for the rest of the match.

Next, Sheldon tries to make use of these boosts by letting off another of its Seed Bombs at Myrmeleon. Myrmeleon swoops down towards Sheldon, ready to start attacking from close up, and as it flies it stops briefly to Protect against the bomb, deflecting it off to the side of itself before continuing down to try to take advantage of Sheldon not attacking in the near future.

Finally, it arrives down at Sheldon, and moves up to deliver a giant Bug Bite to Sheldon, preying on the grassy area on Sheldon's back to Bug Bite it hard, taking off a lot of health. Meanwhile, Sheldon aborbs all of the sunlight it can find, and restores most of its health using Synthesis to get energy. This leaves us with both contestants looking reasonably equal, meaning that this battle is just going to be decided by an old-fashioned 1v1 to the death. Good luck guys!

And thus begins what is probably the penultimate round of the match, and both beginning to go all out at each other at last. Myrmeleon begins the round by once again, jumping up on top of Sheldon and delivering a Bug Bite to his back, wounding him where he had been hit so often before (4 Energy, 9 Damage), but allowing Sheldon to once again buck him off and fire off some Razor Leaves towards Myrmeleon, which hit him as he flies off and blows him away with the force of repeated beatings with leaves (3 Energy, 14 Damage).

From afar, Myrmeleon changes tack slightly and lets off another Sonicboom towards Sheldon, and the great pressure waves rip into Sheldon where he stands (7 Energy, 10 Damage). In responce, Sheldon lets out of it mouth a Seed Bomb towards Myrmeleon, which explodes out as it gets towards Myrmeleon and knocks it down out of the air on to the record (4 Energy, 16 Damage).

Finally, Myrmeleon once again jumps in on to Shledon's back, and delivers yet another Bug Bite to the grassy tufts on its back, hurting it very badly and leaving it almost within KO range (4 Energy, 9 Damage). In responce, Sheldon lets out another Seed Bomb at point-blank range at Mymeleon, making a great explosion between them which blows Myrmeleon off Sheldon's back and back on to the record (8 Energy, 16 Damage). This leaves both Pokemon almost spent, and it looks almost certain that we are now going into the last round.

And finally we get to the end of this epic match. Sheldon is looking tired after a long fight, and Myrmeleon is moving around in the sky above him, ready to close out the match. He speeds up and lets off another Sonicboom, which tears at Sheldon once more. Sheldon teeters slightly, almost falling over, but manages to keep itself upright long enough to let off one final Razor Leaf attack at Myrmeleon, which hits it even across the distance. However, Myrmeleon responds by jumping forward towards Sheldon almost faster than the eye can follow, and striking the tired Sheldon down. It takes the last of Sheldon's health, and Sheldon passes out completely, unable to battle further. This leaves Banryu with the only Pokemon able to continue battling, meaning Banryu Wins! gg and wp everyone, especially Baryu and Myrmeleon. I hope you had fun, and just to make sure I'll post couple of prizes down below.​
