Poor Ivy, that paralysis really left her at the mercy of her opponent. I remember Hydreigon maiming wild Bouffalant in the prairies with this same technique...

Whatever, seems like this unfortunate Bulbasaur has his days numbered. And indeed, Shinxe gives him the coup de grace with his chilling canines, wounding critically Ivy to the point she clearly isn't able to keep it going. Danmantican sadly calls her back and prepares to send out his next contender...

Great job, Ivy. I guess it's time for Buddha!

Darmuka(M)-Buddha
Nature: Docile

Type:
Fire:
Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Solarbeam has Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

Abilities:
Hustle: (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon puts immense force and speed in its physical attacks, increasing the base damage of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal.

Let's start by creating a 15 HP Substitute. After I want you to burn Shinx with Will-o-Wisp. If your Substitute is broken by now, create a 13 HP Substitute. If the original is still intact, hit Shinx with a Focus Punch

OK then! Accurssed Rivalry hits me here... regardless!

A Spark should put a dent in it, then a bite should finish the substitute off.

Then, since that Substitute is of a shoddy build (Look at move description, 15 - 25% unless you want a shoddily built one), give it a Spark again.

Guys, I wouldn't want to alarm you in the slightest, but I think the void vortex is slowly growing... What, Hydreigon? Nah, let them think they're safe, for now...

Either way, looks like danmantican has chosen his next champion. A friendly-looking yet tenacious Darumaka gets out of the Poké Ball, eager to battle. Shinxe charges him as soon as she glances him, still frenzied by the last victory. However, her assault ends up on a cute doll conjured by Buddha for the occasion (must be some kind of Indian mojo...).

Safely behind the doll, Buddha laughs and summons several eerie wisps, who float upon Shinxe and scorch her severely. The Shinx growls in pain, but still finds the braver to go ahead and bite the accursed doll, ravaging and destroying it.

However, just as he finally prepares to charge the Darumaka himself, another simulacrum of himself stops her path and absorbs her lightning assault. Things are gonna get tricky for Shinxe now...

Despite the fact she's in a tough position, Shinxe still looks determined - I like it. Despair is always stronger when it's preceded by hope.

The Shinx charges in herself every bit of energy she can muster, and dashes forward in a wild attack. Behind the doll, Buddha is meditating, while a glowing white aura is starting to shroud him. Surprisingly, Shinxe's charge destroys the doll despite burn still hampering her assaults, but the Darumaka's aftermath is devastating. Concentrating all his might into a fist, he slams the thunder cat with unspoken power, sending him flying backwards.

Cats always land with all their four paws, and Shinxe is no exception. She quickly recovers from the huge blow and resumes her offense. Even the fiery punch she meets doesn't prevent her from biting that joke of a daruma with her sharpened teeth.

Buddha pays it back double, showing her his hottest smile and biting into her with his blazing canines, but Shinxe replies with another sparkling charge. This time the Darumaka doesn't manage to dodge the attack effectively, and the sparks of electricity end up paralyzing him.

The Shinx is gonna faint soon, but will she be able to bring the japanese doll down with her?

Hope wanes, like everything else. Only waste remains, and this Shinx makes no exception. She attempts to emit noxious gas from her mouth, but the venom cloud barely misses its intended target, and gets absorbed into the void vortex. Buddha tries to retaliate with his fiery fangs, but Shinxe dodges the assault. Her end is nigh, though. Despite she tries to repel the Darumaka's offense with another charged tackle, Buddha finally manages to strike true, and his fangs leave the Shinx no escape. Dogfish can only look as his trustworthy cat faints. Which choice will he try to turn the tides?

One more step towards the end for dogfish, one more step towards delusions for danmantican. Yes, Hydreigon, the time is approaching.

Out of dogfish's Poké Ball spawns a mild-tempered Sealeo. Despite the nice look, however, he instantly goes on the offense - helped by the fact Buddha is still impaired by paralysis - and mashes into his opponent fiercely. However, instead of a wail of pain, out of the Darumaka's odd mouth comes... a yawn! Snooker is instantly caught by it and starts to get drowsy.

Despite his eyebrows are oscillating, the Sealeo holds himself and tries to send shocking waves through the gro... ground? But if they're still floating in mid-air... Buddha apparently smiles (can't tell it that's his usual expression or an actual smile...) and conjures another one of his cute homemade dolls.

Trying to remedy to that error of before, Snooker charges again, but this time he's intercepted by the fake Darumaka. The real one, a step behind, greets him with a mighty punch right in the face, which sends the sea lion floating back for some meters.

OK, no, I'm objecting to this reffing. This 0 gravity arena is still a room (it's in the description), and I never ordered my mon to be floating when it came out (Waterwall would simply hit and charge past onto another wall if you're going to be pedantic). The earthquake would send shockwaves throughout the room from the ground, which would cause a shaking (Even if you're floating you would feel it, and being a simulation dome of 0 gravity where the 0 gravity generator would be hit and probably damaged you would expect some that this could have massive consequences on the arena, j/s).

Also, I have had an earthquake work in space before - by sending the shockwaves directly through the target (See me vs Aquamarius, it's in my profile as the victory by DQ). And I would most likely be fast enough to reach Buddha

Thirdly, since I have had good reason to post what I have, I would appreciate it if you would not insinuate that I am an idiot in your reffings. I am OK with light-hearted humour aimed at me, but the snippet in the damage calculation box was un-needed.

Also, at the end of rounds, could you tell us exactly where our pokémon stand? It's key info, and right now this reffing has seemed rather lax in including this info.

While I am sorry if my tone sounded overly sarcastic and I apologize, I still won't allow you to use Earthquake. While you were not floating, your opponent clearly was. It is physically impossible, in an environment with 0 gravity, to stay at ground after receiving hits like the ones which happened between Shinx and Darumaka. Moreover, about what you said on Earthquake being able to go through the target, that's kind of impossible. The kind of waves produced by earthquakes can travel only through solid hits, not through void or a rarefied material like air. The fact it happened to you in a battle before has little to do in this. If you think I'm doing anything wrong ask Flora I guess (I did already, if you're wondering).

Yet I have yet to notice any of the walls (Or, inherently, Sperm Whale/Petunias) to be used. Surely in 0 Gravity, these attacks could have knocked opponents into the walls.

And denying a move because it will do no damage is unfair to both me and dan. To me since I want an arena shift (See what I said before about this being a generated 0 gravity, if that was damaged the gravity would return to normal [Falling damage included to Darumaku]), and to dan since my energy remains the same.

OK then.

Waterfall it for massive damage, try to aim it so that you end up positioned with the Whale between you and Darumaku - The large object should cause him to take time to reach you as you sleep. When you wake up, give it some more Waterfalls for good measure.

I wonder if they did not notice the void vortex growing or if they are simply unsuspecting of what awaits them...

Snooker is probably not going to keep it up for long, but he still finds enough resolve to charge straight at Buddha, slamming it so hard that the daruma thing floats for some instants, stunned by the blow. However, the tireness is too intense, and the Sealeo falls into slumberland...

The Darumaka slowly floats over Snooker and punches into him with his fiery fist, following it with burning canines plowing into the sleeping body of his opponent. Luckily for the Sealeo, though, his fat protected him from the blunt of the enemy attacks.

Looks like more blood is to be spilled, Hydreigon...

Buddha readies his arm, glowing into a blinding white energy. Looks like Snooker is going to take a huge... mm, surprising. The Darumaka lost his equilibrium and barely missed the Sealeo. Probably those aether winds broke his momentum. At any rate, it's too late for the red doll, as Snooker wakes up and slams into him with fierce violence.
