Had a silly idea I would like to try.

Battle Info
Format: 3v3 3*+ Rotation Battle
Switch: N/A
DQ: 48 hours for challenger, 72 hours for ref
Abilities: All
Items: On
Megas: One
Z-Moves: One
Recoveries: 2
Chills: 5
Substitutions: 4
Arena: Rotation Stadium
Built for a special style of battle, this arena has sat unused for quite some time. With two large rotating discs, it allows each trainer to have three pokemon ready to attack at will.
Effects:
  • Each trainer sends out all three of their pokemon.
  • When giving orders, each move must be appended by a pokemon that can use that move. Example: Tackle (Pikachu)
  • Due to ordering first being especially difficult in this type of battle, both players instead give the Ref orders secretly via PM. Flavor may still be included, as the orders will be posted by the ref immediately prior to resolving them.
  • When making subs, triggering moves can be generic, triggering if any of the opponents pokemon use the move.
  • At the start of each action (start of round effects trigger after the first rotation), the pokemon which will use a move that action is rotated to the front. The rest of the action is treated as a singles battle, with the other two pokemon not being target-able, nor will start/end of turn/action effects affect them.
Codifications:
  • Camouflage turns the user into a Normal type
  • Secret Power may Confuse the target
  • Nature Power becomes Tri-Attack

You need to precise whether you want it to be Singles or Doubles or whatever (or you could leave that to the acceptor, but then you need to precise that), and also add your battle to the queue!

I'll take that beginner battle, I keep some Stage 1 mons to teach new people some of the more important things to watch out for in BBP.

If no one refs it for a couple days, I'll self-ref it! Same applies to Coolcodename's lack of a opponent.

EDIT: If/when someone else refs the beginner battle- I would like to order first, just to demonstrate ordering and subs and stuff

Special Rule: When accepting the challenge the acceptor must choose between one of the following teambuilding restrictions in their post. That teambuilding restriction will apply when sending in teams to the ref.
Teambuilding Restrictions said:
1) All Pokemon must share at least one type with another Pokemon on their team.
2) No Pokemon on a team can share a type.
3) No Pokemon with three or more abilities can be used (if a Pokemon's mega forme has three or more abilities, but its base form does not, the base forme can be used, and the Pokemon cannot mega evolve)
4) No Pokemon on a team can be from the same original Generation of release (CAPs are considered to be released in the generation they were created)
5) All Pokemon on a team must have the same Pokedex colour https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_color (CAP Pokemon have no Pokedex colour and therefore cannot be used)
