Pokemon Attitude: He's very light-hearted and carefree, but most people and Pokemon get scared away due to his appearance. Don't provoke him, though, as when angered he won't hold back. Alert to sounds.

Hoenn, Lavaridge Town. While known for its Lava Cookies, the city also holds a festival to celebrate another year in the shade of Mt. Chimney. Since you felt like eating more than your share of cookies, you decided to book a trip there, grabbing two Pokémon that looked mildly interested on the way.
And here you are! Cookies! Stalls! Hot tubs! Food! It's all laid out plainly in front of you.
It would be nearly perfect if not for the persistent rumor that the volcano has been strangely active recently, but eh, that's probably just a bunch of party poopers trying to spoil the fun.
Or... maybe it isn't.
You find yourself being suddenly hot. Wayy too hot for a mere removal of clothing to work, and you don't want to be arrested anyway. You weren't expecting such a powerful heat, and you haven't even started enjoying the festival yet!
This feels like it should be your first step towards that goal.

Mimikyu will use Light Screen to reflect the heat back.
Voodoom will use Ice Punch on me as gently as possible (I mean, he is a special attacker) to cool me down, and if I get injured too badly he uses Pain Split.

Mimikyu quickly erects a barrier around you three (who's to say your Pokémon aren't hot as well? Mimikyu is literally under some cloth!), which relieves you a little, but not enough.
Voodoom coats its fist with ice and gently rubs it on your body, cooling it down progressively. Soon, you can see a shimmering layer of ice above your skin, and while it hurts, Voodoom is absorbing most of it.
You don't know how long that will last, but at least you feel better for now. So, are you going to enjoy this festival now or what?

Electrode finally falls, but the sparks alongside its surface don't cease running. That's weird... but it's also certainly not your business!
Your business is enjoying yourself! And there is much to do in that department!

You fly from stall to stall, trying Hoenn-style grilled octopus, admiring little lava swaps (do not touch), consider buying Lavaridge town, before your attention is caught by the classic 'golden Magikarp scoop' stall.
Obviously, you just have to go there and try your skill. You get your turn, and approach the Magikarps... As you try to zero in on one that doesn't seem too quick, you notice that... the water is getting troubled. Hey, that's no fair! It's way too difficult like that!
Wait... it's not only the stall? Is there an earthquake happening?
As your turn your head around (and see other people do the same), the answer comes to you.
Literally.
A wave of frantic Numels crashes onto the festival, with Numels apparently fleeing from near the volcano, not caring if they crash into stalls, running through the makeshift alleys at full speed.

If that doesn't work out because Vox used Pain Split last RP round, Vox Mimics Disguise's Safeguard and Disguise uses Pain Split instead.

The first solution wouldn't work indeed because of the stated reason.

The young Rookidee barely makes an attempt to flee when it sees you approach. It must be in truly bad shape. Disguise quckly envelops it with a Safeguard; this should at least protect it from the still scorching heat. Meawhile, Vox is focusing on the earlier interaction and... ah, that's how you do it, is it not? Yeah, this should work. It immediately uses Pain Split on the Rookidee, and you can see the latter visibly relax and flap its wing, while Vox keeps its stone face all throughout. What a champ.

That said, not all is well. You barely get time to mentally congratulate yourself and hear a flap of wings. Big wings. Raising your head shows a Corviknight right above you, and the look in its eyes tells you two things.
1) it's probably the Rookidee's mother
2) it thinks you were the ones hurting its child

That alone doesn't bode well for you, but turning your eyes to the left reveals a Bouffalant charging straight at you, probably frightened by the Numel irruption from earlier. It seems to have decorative stuff from stalls in its horn and hair.
