Your Pokémon are defeated, but Corviknight does not press you further: it scoops its young up and flies away, presumably towards its nest. As for Bouffalant, festival staff turned up and it was subjugated when you weren't looking. Looks like everything's back in order!
OF COURSE IT ISN'T!
The Numel invasion absolutely killed the mood, and most of the stalls. Some people are actually injured and need help. Instead of the nice festival you were expecting, you get enrolled to save whatever can be saved and move the injured towards a safer place. You can't even use your Pokémon to help as they are still knocked out and there is no medicine around!
As you are busy with the war effort, you spot a few police cars driving towards the festival site. A policewoman emerges from one and walks towards you.
"I will need you to evacuate." she says. "The volcano has shown dangerous signs of activity. We have the Weather Institute investigating matters, but for now it's too risky to have civilians nearby."
She leaves you and goes to repeat her message to other people. Evacuate, huh... Talk about an ending.
You quit Lavaridge with a heavy heart. You didn't have the fun time you wanted, and you even exerted yourself on your vacation. Fumbling around in your bag, your fingers meet an unfamiliar piece of paper.
Huh. It's a pamphlet, and one you don't remember putting there. What does it say?
"Ula'Ula Festival"
