"I uh...may have sold them to buy more candy. Sorry."
"WHAT?!"
"Look, we'll have to discuss this later. There's an angry Tomohawk and a Tyranitar that wants to sell us life insurance."

"No! My Candy Empire! I'll...have to retreat for now, I guess."
Hubert beats a hasty retreat further into the town's shadows. Satisfied at beating the scam artist, Lou nods, and moves into town. One quick trip to the Pokemon Center later, and the trio resume enjoying their Harvest Festival.
After a well deserved rest, the trio exit the Pokémon Center. The sunlight is starting to fade over the mountains, and a gloomy fog seems to settle across the town. A scant few villagers start mumbling and boarding up their doors and windows, and whispers of a "Harvest King" emanate throughout town. However, most of the people are instead getting ready for the main event, the nightly Trick or Treating part of the festival. Bags full of candy shuffle around in bags as if the bags were full of gold coins. The lights in the town dim as the daytime festival begins to wind down. An eerie quiet settles upon the town.
An eerie quiet that soon ends upon the crackle of thunder.
*BOOOM!*
A furious storm whips up from out of nowhere, drenching the entire village in a dense torrent of rain. Another thunder cracks, this time much closer to town. The winds howl, blowing several of the stalls and tents away. This storm is very unusual for the town, especially for this time of year. A third crack of thunder lands in the center of town, striking the stall Lou was trying to approach before Anpao went missing. Destruction ensues, as wooden and steel shrapnel is flung about, aided by the strong winds. Several cries for help echo through the town square, and Lou goes over to try and help. Once there, he finds that a scientist and a few assistants are pinned to the ground underneath steel pieces of shrapnel. A few others are lying on the ground, clearly unlucky townsfolk who received a (nonlethal) shock to their system. Lou approaches the scientist, but is waved away by him.
"P-please, there's no time for us. First you must stop that crazy Pokémon! He has started to chase my beautiful creation, a revived insectoid Pokémon from long ago!"
A few other villagers arrive to help out the scientist and his assistants. A few of them bring out Pokémon that Heal Pulse the unlucky people, others bring out strong Pokémon to lift the rubble. Out of the corner of her eye, Gunhilde notices a shadowy figure moving across the sky, wielding large iron chains attached to some form of heavy weight. Gunhilde points it out to Lou. Without hesitation, the trio run in pursuit of the figure, trying to stop whatever crime they are committing. The trio run through town, Anpao keeping a close pursuit on the figure. Soon enough, the figure notices the trio, and launches one of the weights directly at Lou! As the weight gets closer, the realization comes that the weights are actually cages, and Lou soon finds himself trapped! Lou tests one of the bars, and gets a nasty shock for his efforts, it seems it is trapped. Gunhilde, naturally, tries to swipe at the cage, but it is made of sterner stuff than that. It seems that this cage is going to need a little more force than a casual swipe from Gunhilde to break open.
A voice is then heard in the distance. "You blasted idiot! We're supposed to be catching the experiment, not some foolish interlopers."
The figure and the voice dash off into the distance, as Lou tries to puzzle a way out of the cage.
How will LouisCyphre break out of the strong, electrified cage?
"Obnoxious, but they do have good aim. Would you two be so kind?"
"Trivial."
"Please, boss; as if you needed to ask!"
Gunhilde should be able to easily Dig an escape under the cage in seconds. But just to be sure, Anpao should lend a Helping Hand and dispose of the displaced earth, to allow Gunhilde to work unhindered.
Quickly, the trio devise a plan to escape the cage. Gunhilde starts shoveling dirt aside to burrow into the ground. The ground is already muddy from the rain though, so it proves to be harder work than usual. Fortunately, Anpao is there to lend a helping hand, and in no time at all, the two have dug a hole beneath the cage large enough for Lou to escape!
Success! +2 RPT
The escape proved at least somewhat time consuming though, so the trio have a hard time judging where the shadowy figure went. At least until they hear a loud clang of metal upon cobblestone. Another cage clatters to the ground as the trio finally catch up to the shadowy figure. Another crackle of thunder lights up the figure enough to see that it is a Thundurus! With him is a mysterious purple-suited figure.
"Ah yes, this Pokemon will do quite nicely. It will serve the Administration well..."
Within the cage, the trio also gets a good look at the captive. A seemingly wild Genesect is trapped in the cage, struggling to get out. It is soon pacified by a shock from the cage. The shock seems to make it instantly docile and responsive to the mysterious figure. Just who is this man anyway? Some kind of Pokemon Hunter? Before the trio can contemplate this any further, the Thundurus responds.
"Yes, I'm sure it will make an excellent addition to---"
The Thundurus suddenly freezes, and shoots an evil glare at the trio. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning strikes near them, one that is only barely dodged. The man in the purple suit notices, gives an evil grin, and then taps a button on his belt. This releases the Genesect, who comes straight for Lou!

The Pokémon Hunter withdraws his Thundurus, then backs away into the sandstorm. Gunhilde gives a brief chase, but the Hunter has seemingly vanished. Just as the sandstorm subsides, Lou hears footsteps behind them. An exhausted looking scientist - the same that requested Lou's help with the stolen Genesect - stumbles forward.
"Oh thank goodness you're okay Genesect! Kind trainer, how can I ever repay you?"
It seems that despite the universe's best efforts to derail Lou's fun at the festival, Lou has persevered. Tonight the trio rests, and the for the rest of their time in Stanislas Town, they enjoy the festival without being heckled.
