No. It's multiuse, but only after the user eats a berry.
As soon as a berry is consumed, the user can use Belch for the rest of the battle, even if the user gets the berry back with a move or ability.
 
The best Belch user would be Heatmor.

Also, Heatmor can Learn Bug Bite.

Even Heatmor doesn't get the STAB, He surely can nail Belch much faster than any other Belch users.

Facts:
  • Belch isn't a one time attack; it can be used an infinite number of times, even after switching out.
  • They also only need to consume a berry once in order for Belch to be used.
 
Well, Belch can be used an infinite amount of times after the berry consuming... AND we can confirm Belch is surprisingly the most powerful poison attack. And most of the known users are physical attackers while it is special. This can probably lead to a mix set. As shown with the Heatmor post since Bug Bite is a Physical Attack and Belch is a special. And Bug bite devours the opponent's berry which can allow a different item to be helt.
 
the problem with belch is that it is a poison move and has conditions to be able to use. it would of been alot more attractive if it was a 70 base power move that doubled in power after berry consumption.
 
Why not Weezing? Could look something like this

Weezing @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP 200 SpA 54 Def/SpD
Bold/Calm/Modest
-Belch
-Will o Wisp/Sludge Bomb
-Pain Split
-Clear Smog

EVs can obviously tweaked to your liking but I think Weezing is a Great Wall that can use this move to it's potential.
 
Are there any decent special-oriental Poison-types or any Pokémon that have the potential to put this move to fair use? If not, then it's potential wasted. T_T

The thing about this move is that it really doesn't make much of a difference even if you do get a berry activation right. Just look at this:

252+ SpA Life Orb Victreebel Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Abomasnow: 400-476 (104.1 - 123.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Victreebel (Belch) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Abomasnow: 410-486 (106.7 - 126.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO (no life orb because you used up a berry)

The only thing that I can truly see a benefit coming from this is that if you use a sweeping set, you won't have recoil as compared to the standard sets. However, considering both sets the life orb one is more powerful overall due to the fact that it also boosts up your coverage moves as well as your other secondary stab.

I do know how to make a belch set work though, 2 berries come to mind: the kee berry and the maranga berry

Kee BerryRaises Defense if holder is hit by a physical move
Maranga BerryRaises Special Defense if holder is hit by a special move

Let victreebel use a maranga berry, as it could take a special hit much better than a physical one. Preferably, make it take a resisted hit that is not powerful enough to do any serious damage. The boost from the berry does not matter, the point is you activated it and can now spam a 120 base power poison move.

Yeah, none of them need a poison attack, but it would be nice to have a high damaging coverage move. I think it could only work on Exeggutor since he is the only one with good special attack and Harvest ability.
 
The only OU viable mons that learn Belch are Slowbro and Toxicroak (and Croak isn't that viable tbh).

CM + Recycle + Belch + Scald Sitrus Berry Slowbro new meta. We can call it GrossBro.

But let's not; Bro has better things to be doing like FunBro
