Well, Smogon's starting their BL/UU/NFE merger in less than a month. I intend to get into UU play when it gets merged. So I came here since the nice people at this site helped me build the framework of my OU team before... Please note that this team will be absolutely horrible for the first little while... I know NOTHING about UU, so please bear with me...
ABSOL @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
Nature: Hasty
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spe
-Taunt
-Counter
-Sucker Punch
-Pursuit
It's an anti-lead set. I'm pretty sure you can tell what I mean by simply looking at its moveset... Taunt stops support leads in their tracks. Counter with a Focus Sash and a Hasty Nature will easily hold up anybody who tries to be smart with a Fighting attack. Sucker Punch will stop anyone who tries to attack me, it's the strongest UU priority move! Pursuit stops them from running. This moveset requires quite a bit of prediction.
CHANSEY @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpD
-Aromatherapy
-Wish
-Softboiled
-Toxic
This is Chansey, it walls stuff. This Variant is meant to focus primarily on support. This gets walled by Steel-types and Poison-types, but they'll run in the face of Blaziken and Gastrodon anyways. This basically heals teammates, heals itself, and cures status while inflicting it.
STEELIX @ Leftovers
Trait: Rock Head
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP, 120 Att, 136 SpD
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
-EarthQuake
-Explosion/Roar
A perfect physical wall for this team. Its naturally high defense makes it tough to take down. Gyro Ball & EarthQuake are incredible STAB moves with high base power. The choice between Explosion and Roar is a tough one, I can either take down something that would otherwise thwart my entire team, or I can abuse Stealth Rock.
GASTRODON @ Leftovers
Trait: Sticky Hold
Nature: Careful/Calm
EVs: 252 HP, 216 Def, 42 SpD
-EarthQuake/Surf
-Stockpile
-Toxic
-Recover
Gastrodon is meant to bring an element of stall into this. I just have to Toxic them, Stockpile up, and spam EarthQuake. Skarmory is the only Pokemon who is completely immune, but there's a high chance that Skarmory won't make it into the test. PHazers LOL at me... Recover is there for obvious reasons. Switching to Surf is a valid option as well.
BLAZIKEN @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
Nature: Naive
EVs: 78 Att, 216 SpA, 216 Spe
-Overheat
-Sky Uppercut
-Thunderpunch
-Hidden Power [Ice]
Similar to Infernape, This is meant to hit as many things as possible for maximum damage. This outspeeds many UU threats. Overheat will KO stuff in one hit as its main STAB. Sky Uppercut is the secondary STAB, it hits most resisters of the main STAB. Thunderpunch and HP Ice for coverage.
LAPRAS @ Lefotvers
Trait: Water Absorb
Nature: Modest
EVs: 192 Def, 160 SpA, 156 SpD
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Toxic
Lapras is here to unleash a barrage of special attacks, while taking hits like a UU Vaporeon. It hits stuff with BoltBeam and STAB. The EVs are meant to increase power, while making Lapras more defensive. Lanturn and Fighting-types will be my only problem with this set, as they can easily take me down with strong attacks.
-----------------------
Due to the nature of the test, I've had to come up with a few back-ups in case of the banning of a team member. However, I can't post it here, so if you want to help with that, please help me through PMs.
