Bleeeeeeeeck!

Someone please offer me some advice on this team. It really could use some work, and I'm willing to take ALL of your advice.

Yanmega @ Wide Lens
Modest
Speed Boost
4 Def / 252 Spe / 252 SpAtt
- Air Slash
- Protect
- Bug Buzz
- Hypnosis
This thing is one of the best leads ever. Tyranitar/Hippo/Abomasnow really shuts down the Focus Sash though, and I have problems dealing with Hippo. I'm considering HP Ice over Hypnosis, but Hypnosis has just worked too well for me to really replace it. Protect is great, it allows for a free speed boost and then I can usually do some good damage with this.

Mamoswine @ Leftovers
Adamant
Snow Cloak
124 HP / 252 Atk / 64 Def / 68 Spe
- Stone Edge
- Ice Shard
- Curse
- Earthquake
Eh. Stone Edge hasnt been too useful. This could possibly be a physical sweeper, but others can do the job better. I'll probably replace this, as it doesn't support the team much. Any suggestions? Please let me know what I can suitably replace this with.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold
Natural Cure
148 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe / 104 SpAtt
- Seismic Toss
- Flamethrower
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave
Do I really need a description? Flamethrower is because I don't have a fire attack on my team. Flamethrower probably isn't that smart, but whatever. I kinda want to replace it with Aromatherapy and shift the 104 SpAtt EVs into SpDef EVs.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Impish
Sand Veil
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
Sets up rocks, is an amazing counter to Lucario and Heracross, has a great healing move, can I ask for more? The only thing I really would want on this set is Taunt, but I only have 4 moveslots : ( But other than that, a great physical tank/wall.

dpmfa121.png

Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid
Natural Cure
252 HP / 72 Spe / 184 SpAtt
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
Outspeeds many things, is my spinner, and has a great recovery move. Amazing. I would also consider Tentacruel for this role because of Toxic Spikes and the extra support it can give my team. It's tough to decide :/ but Starmie can prove more useful in more situations.

Machamp @ Leftovers
No Guard
Adamant
252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Spe
- Dynamicpunch
- Ice Punch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
My first time trying out this set. Since Machamp is somewhat bulky, it can stall with rest and sleep talk and provides support by confusing with Dynamicpunch, which will always hit with no guard.

Any opinions? This is what I noticed what was wrong on my team...
- Toxic Spikes would be nice, and would help a ton.
- I've taken Weaviles out before, but my team isn't a big fan of them.
- Plus a lot more, but I'll leave it up to you experts out there to figure that out :P

A Dragon such as Salamence or Dragonite can fix your Infernape problem, or you could just use a Tentacruel, which sets up toxic spikes and is a Very good counter to Infernape. Bronzong could be a good choice for a bulky SR support, countering Weavile and Tyranitar.

To be honest, I would change the Skarmory for a Gliscor, since you kind of don't have a Definite counter to CB Heracross, although you have a Yanmega, but it can't really switch in with Heracross having Stone Edge which is a thing on it.

Starmie can usually handle Infernape pretty well. Give it max hp to take a Grass Knot better. With that said, just make sure its health is up because GK does about 70-80% to Starmie.

Stone Edge is very useful on Mamo. It takes out Zapdos and Gyarados with ease. Mamo is good, but it can't switch into much. Swampert might be a good replacement over Mamo. Some good rock resist, sturdy wall and something that can SR.

Since youre not a fan of that Scizor, and since you have nothing to absorb sleep, consider using Stalk Machamp (Dpunch, Ipunch/SE) with a defensive EV spread for that stab fighting move and for something to switch onto blissey without getting status fucked.

edit: lol when did you have gliscor and tenta? .-.

Well, since I just changed Starmie, what is your advice on Tentacruel? I would think Tentacruel can handle Infernape because it resists Grass Knot, but I'm not too sure about Thunderpunch.

I'll think about changing Mamo to Swampert. I can handle the grass weakness anyway and it's generally more bulkier.. good idea.

Machamp sounds like a good idea, but it's a little slow for my liking. Oh well, I'll test it out.

Thank you for your suggestions.

you might aswell go with starmie. Like Mystica said, it covers Infernape pretty well, but it dosen't set up toxic spikes, so it's your choice.

First of all, I don't think that Curse Mamoswine is a great idea, as its Special Defense isn't that good. Also what is the point of Technician on Scizor if all of the attacks are over 60 base power? I recommend dropping Iron Head for quick attack, if you want to keep it.

I think that Gliscor should replace Skarmory for your physical wall, as most of the stuff Skarmory can take, so can Gliscor and you would also have a counter to your giant Heracross weakness and somewhat with your CB Tyranitar problem.

I'd say that your Infernape weakness isn't as bad as you think it is. The Infernape user would have to predict a switch to Starmie and Grass Knot, but if you can predict that, Yanmega can come in and Protect.

The defensive type coverage for this team is pretty good, but you have 3 Fire, Fighting and Grass weaknesses. To be fair, you have at least two resists for each, but a Substitute, Calm Mind, Grass Knot, Hidden Power [Fire] Celebi could give you trouble, but I have yet to see one run that set. I think that it can beat Blissey with 101 HP Substitutes. Also although you only have one rock weakness, you have no resists, so a Choice Band Tyranitar could pose a problem.

I see somewhat of a problem with any version of Deoxys-S, assuming you play on ShoddyBattle ladder, and it will probably be un-ubered soon anyways. It will outspeed and OHKO Yanmega even after a Speed Boost with ThunderBolt or Ice Beam. Scizor is the only thing that has a chance at breaking it, but it can't switch in safely more than once. If you are willing to drop Scizor, I recommend a Jirachi to deal with this problem, as it can either set up a CM sweep or give wish support for Yanmega switch in with stealth rocks. Whichever set you use is up to you, and get the spreads from one of the analysi. (?)

Swords Dance Lucario is a problem for this team, another reason to drop Skarmory for Gliscor.

I can see Rhyperior with Life Orb under Trick Room doing a number to this team, as it nails Skarmory switch ins with Stone Edge and OHKO's the rest of your team with respective moves, (except maybe Scizor who won't do much back.) Also fixed with Gliscor...

LO Kingdra under rain is a problem, but if you force it to use Draco Meteor by switching in Starmie and then switching back out to Blissey, it can be beat easily.

SkarmBlissCress can wall your entire team, so you may want to consider using Choice Band Tyranitar over Mamoswine, but then you will have bigger problems with the dragons.

So to recap, I recommend dropping Skarmory for Gliscor for sure. Jirachi over Scizor if you want, but it gives you a bit more of a Weavile weakness. And Tyranitar over Mamoswine is up to you, would you rather have a Stall Weakness or a Dragon Weakness.

EDIT: Wow, that was the longest rate I've ever done yawns. Wow you made updates before I posted yawns again. Gliscor wants Leftovers because you are not setting up Sandstorm for it yourself, and it likes the recovery.

kinda of seeing a gyarados weak here, i'd throw tb on starmie over ice beam

I haven't been able to use curse mamo ever since it's defensinve type kind of bites and something like heatran/any special attacker can just come in and revenge kill.

as far as weavile goes, something like mixed metagross is a fair idea, but i'd throw ice fang over knock off on gliscor to deal with chomp/opposing gliscor.

Focus Sash is kind of useless with the amount of Sandstorm teams still going around and other indirect damage tactics. Some viable and better items on Yanmega are Wide Lens, in order to boost accuracy for not only Hypnosis but Air Slash as well or Leftovers, in order to recover damages from Stealth Rock so it can switch in more or cancel out sandstorm/hail damage.

You're pretty Mamoswine weak, something you should be aware of. MixSwine is probably your biggest threat however, seeing as Gliscor will even have a harder time walling it as Blizzard is an OHKO. Blissey can't stand up to 2 STAB Earthquakes, Machamp and your Mamoswine gets 2HKO'd regardless, as minimum damage it'll do to both are 6X.XX% and Starmie and Yanmega don't want any business in taking strong, SE and STAB attacks so they're out of the window. Taking out Skarmory for Gliscor, as Rhykune suggested, wasn't the best idea but this problem can still be solved with Pokemons that do similar jobs. A bulky Water or Levitating Steel type can always work to counter Mamoswine. CursePert (over CurseSwine), CalmCune (over Starmie), standard Skarmory or Zong can all work.

Wide Lens is the item I chose to replace Focus Sash with on Yanmega. The extra accuracy is crucial and if Hypnosis doesn't hit, chances are I will have a much much harder time with it.

I'm thinking Metagross to replace Mamoswine. I need something that can hit hard physically, and my Mamowine weak can be taken care of with Starmie's surf. I don't want mixed metagross, I'm thinking agiligross. Any suggestions with this?
