With its sky-high HP stat and special bulk, Blissey functions as a solid check for top-tier offensive threats like Choice Specs Kyogre and offensive Eternatus, with Tera Water further securing the matchup against the former. Calm Mind provides an effective way to further check setup sweepers like Calm Mind Kyogre, Meteor Beam Eternatus, and Calm Mind Arceus Formes, while Seismic Toss lets it reliably pressure foes that try to use it as setup fodder. Thanks to its ability to force out special attackers, Blissey can consistently utilize the free turns to set up Stealth Rock. Blissey works best on stall teams, where the passiveness of Blissey is more bearable. Solid physical walls like Skeledirge and Dondozo are great teammates, and special walls like Ho-Oh, Clodsire, and Tyranitar can prevent Blissey from being overwhelmed; Tyranitar also checks Lunala, which stall teams might otherwise struggle against. Calm Mind Provides a effective way to further check the setup sweepers (like?), while Seismic Toss can let it reliably pressure on those who try to use it as a setup folder. Thanks to it's ability to force out the special attackers, Blissey can consistently utilize the free turns to set up stealth rock. Tera Water allows Blissey to flip its weaknesses, better checking Choice Spec Kyogre(move this sentence further up because it directly ties to the purpose this Blissey serves). Blissey works best on Stall teams and balances (Blissey is a stall exclusive-specially this set)where the passiveness of Blissey is more bearable. Solid physical walls like Skeledirge and Dondozo are great teammates, and Special walls like Ho-oh and Clodsire can help blissey out from being over whelmed, in return blissey can absorb status for them (mandatory mention of Tyranitar as a partner to check exactly Lunala, a Pokemon stall sometimes can struggle against).
